If I recall correctly..... If he is still alive at the end of the game, and king, he suggests that there should be more research done into the darkspawn. I'm sure he wants to know as much about his enemy as possible.

Anora says that, too... Hmmm.... I didn't remember Alistair saying that. If they both say it, I think that's meaningful. I bet that's important.

Thanks for posting a pic for me, Maria! I didn't want to shut down the game so I could start photoshop.

I actually have dismemberment today! With my PC and Alistair both being sword and shield warriors, that doesn't happen much. Leliana, sometimes, but I don't tend to get the shot sice I'm usually in the thick of it with the warriors. Here's Alistair after decapitating a genlock. I almost missed this shot because I was so surprised.

@Errant - Nice shot! It's funny you should say you aren't getting many decaps playing a S&S because I felt just the opposite when I played my first S&S Warden, but then... I was coming from months of playing almost nothing but Archers. But, I will admit, when I was playing Randi as a DW, I was amazed at how often she lobbed off people's heads.

@Rage - I like the morph but not for Howe. He looks too clean cut. I prefer Howe to look as ugly as he is evil.

@Catspaw - Wow. I hardly ever manage to get decaps for undead. Good one.

Tigress, when I made the Tim Curry face for Howe, I almost went the Rocky Horror Picture Show look, but he was too young. So I went with older maniacal Tim Curry instead.

*sneaks in* I've been actually playing the game (*gasp*), trying to get Ron F. Mahariel through before DA2 comes out. Playing a dude is hard, since just talking to Alistair isn't enough sometimes, but Alistair has a higher approval rating with Ron than my last few Alistair romancers had at this point (just need to get the Ashes and go to Orzammar), so I'm working on a solid bromance between the two.

Anyway, I don't have any true RDTs, but I do have a badly lit shot of Alistair being exploded around. Maybe next week I'll be able to play for real!

I had persistant gore turned off until recently--does that turn off decaps? I just had it off so they didn't have blood all over their faces all the time, but maybe it had unintended consequences. Turned it back on because I'm going to install one of the gore mods.  The in-game gore looks pretty silly too me, but the mods seem to do a pretty good job. Now if only they could find a way to randomize dispersal without slowing down framerate....

Yeah, dual wield fighters get them a lot more. I loves me my sword and shield, though! Not trading that for anything.
