Good thing within that all was that I have finally finished my Hespith/Broodmother mega chapter (11k words) I procrastinated for 2 months... and the following one almost as well. So I'm finally done with the dreaded (but important) Deep Roads plotline. Yay. Lenya will see light again

Friends, how do I get rid of this dorky picture <-- of my main PC? She's much prettier than this, but I can't see how to replace this bad snap with a custom one. Thank youuuuu

You need some sort of picture editor.  Find a screenshot that you like a lot and crop and resize the picture so that it's 146 x 146.  Then save it as a png file.   The name of the file should be your character name and _portrait.  For instance my character Eloise has a file with this name.  Eloise_portrait

Open up your character folder - My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Characters/ and go to the folder of the character you want to change.  Drag your new custom picture into that folder and overwrite the existing portrait. 

And here's an important step.  Make sure you go into Properties and make that file Read Only.  Now you just have to go into the game and wait for your character profile to update.  That can sometimes take forever.

No.  You can't change your portrait in-game.

Question: Why is there not a preview post type function? *crosses fingers and hopes that inserting an image here is the same as it is everywhere else*

I got a couple of rather silly shots when I went to fight Flemeth a night or two ago, but since they're not of Alistair (just the PC), and technically aren't full of gory goodness, I'm not sure if I would be out of line posting them here?

I was in the process of getting some great ogre kill shots & my finger slipped off Fraps and hit reload. ARGH!!!!! Lost the whole battle & didn't get the cinematic the 2nd time.
