Here he mocks my inability to catch him in mid-dismemberment:

So um might be heresy in these parts, but I haven't done an Alistair-romance playthrough yet (finished Leliana, currently in the midst of the Zev), and in both these games Alistair and Morrigan have soooooooooo much FoeYay that I want them to just hook up and hatef*ck already. Very Slap, Slap, Slap, Slap, Kiss.
Anyone else get that? Just me?

Just you. Actually someone asked David Gaider about that and he said, 'No, they just hate each other.'HolyAvenger wrote...

I do agree that not all of the conversations sound full of venom but I think you're falling into the trap of assuming that all bickering must mean UST. Sometimes it is if you have any indication at all that they like each other or get flustered around each other but with Alistair and Morrigan they just really got off to the wrong start. Morrigan mocks his grief about Duncan, Alistair hates the idea of an apostate wandering around and doesn't trust her...not a great mix.HolyAvenger wrote...

Hmm, interesting. Maybe its says something about my exes, but a lot of their conversations seems come across as sort of teasing-insulting rather than outright hatred.
I just wanted to see my bro/wingman hit that, you know

I agree that bickering does not have to equal UST. There's plenty of bickering within the party that never came across as UST- in fact, most of it. Its just that the Morrigan-Alistair conversations that came across that way to me. Not all of them, true.
The fact they get started off on the wrong foot, or even hate/dislike each other doesn't kill the concept of for me. I couldn't picture them in a loving relationship or anything...sort of like Buffy and Spike after she comes back from being dead, if you get the reference.
Well, you're ignoring everything he says about what he wants. He waited for a reason. It's not like Alistair couldn't have had sex anytime he wanted, either from the ****s who propositioned him or from pretty much anyone else. Edit: Huh. It doesn't like that word. Okay, 'ladies of the evening', then.HolyAvenger wrote...
Ohh c'mon, when I wanted to lose my virginity, like a little obstacle like hating the hot single girl in my adventuring party would've stopped me going there with her
Ah well, thread hijack complete. You may return to your regularly scheduled bouts of squeeing and beefcake. Just thought I'd give a little mWarden perspective on Alistair.

That was a joke.
That said, the FoeYay is still very much there for mine, regardless of whether they choose to act on it or not.
