Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a "perfect" playthrough on origins before DA2 is released. I've done a few playthroughs but I want my own personal canon one. I just can't decide on what my female noble's ending should be in regards to Alistair. I think it’s so unfair that I have to do a shady ritual AND have Alistair sleep with Morrigan if I want a "happy ending" with him. If you play as a bloke you have more choices at your disposal, for instance, you can marry off Alistair and spare loghain just so you can sacrifice him later. Al is safe (and becomes a good king), Loghain gets killed and Morrigan is told to shove her offer where the sun doesn't shine. This would be the perfect ending for me except all this can't happen if you're actually romancing Alistair  And if the male warden is romancing Morrigan, well great, he can sleep with her himself and there’s no need to drag poor Al into it.

*sigh* This part of DA is very frustrating, all that other warden at the landsmeet had to do was take us to one side and say “By the way, wardens die if they kill he archdemon, let’s make loghain a warden just so he can kill himself and then none of us has to die!” but no, Al has to get angry and leave if you spare Loghain for sacrificing purposes.
On the one hand , do the ritual , even if such a thing would go against all my warden’s principles (making Al do something so horrible, giving morrigan power etc) or I have to give him up either by death or by my choice to spare Loghain. How did you all feel when you realized the only way to have your warden be with Alistair was to have him make a demon baby with morrigan?

Me neither, Reika. Just scratch HNF and replace it with F!Mahariel. She felt bad about it. But living without him? Hell, NO.

My Wardens usually have to remind themselves to ask for details before agreeing.
