Really? I mean I'd like to do something as I enjoy playing through the break up. I'm just hesitant to do anything that will ruin rp for people. Maybe I'll do this separate from IRS so people can use it only if they want.

Yeah, I never got "stoic" about it at all. He's devastated. Just thinking about "I'd give it all up for the one thing I really want" makes me verklemmt.cmessaz wrote...
You know, this might be one I shouldn't touch as everyone views it differently. The truth? I was ANGRY, and it actually did lower my opinion of him a bit. 1) In front of our friends 2) Make sure to tell me that you are gonna take a wife and have a baby, because thats just what I want to hear from the man who is breaking my heart. Then I rped it different with a mage who basically agreed with him that it was best. I honestly for the most part felt he was sad enough, with the correct dlg picks.

I always thought he'd be stoic at first. No matter what he feels inside, he has to do what he thinks is best for Ferelden (let me say it yet again today) he does the 'avant que d'être à vous je suis à mon pays' (trans. above belonging to you I belong to my country) bit, even though it means breaking both their hearts.
Seeing the warden's reaction, though - that's when it would break through his stiff back and would let his emotions out. Although...I don't know how sympathetic he really should be since he's the one who is perpetrating this misery. I'm making an assumption here that it's alistair breaking it off. Maybe a kick to his kneecap should be part of the scene, as well!

So, if I were to make a "break up" scene, for the player who allows the landsmeet breakup to happen, what would you want to see?
LOL You and LadyD share a gene I never got. I do appreciate tragedy, but in the game I want my candy-ass ending. US always felt anti-climactic.cmessaz wrote...
I'm a bad person. I run through the breakup- then sac myself quite frequently. I like the drama I guess. Yes I know there is something wrong with me.

How about some extra sauce for those who convince him to keep you? I always thought after he says "damn them all, I'm going to do what I want," he ought to grab the Warden and stick his tongue down her throat so the people in the room really have something to see. And put Eamon front and center, please.

Am I the only one whose first thought was angry break up sex?
Damn it.

OOO. You totally need to add in his punishment scene for trying to break up with you!

Teagan! I keep asking ... why hasn't anyone done a Teagan romance mod?
I'm doing bits here and there of all of them. The male version will follow the next IRS, since it will be built off it. I *think* I am happy with what I released today.TheGrumpyOne wrote...

I'm listening to the Dragon Age podcast now. If anyone else is interested, they start talking about the toolset at about 2 hours, 21 minutes. They've been talking about plug ins and the ability to use it with Awakening.

I have fallen asleep twice! I've listened to the whole podcast because I had no idea when they'd start talking about it. Basically, he (I think it's Fernando Melo?) said they are planning on introducing player made plug-ins to the toolset. And they have already worked on getting the Awakening (not sure about dlc) stuff available to the toolset, but he didn't give a date on when it would be released. He said they are hoping to be able to introduce popular mods to players within the dlc system, so you can download them into the game (for free) like dlc is downloaded.
I hope someone with a better attention span can give a better report. I keep getting interrupted. My dog decided I've been sitting in front of my computer too long, and he's been shrieking at me. It's hard to hear the bioware guys over him.
