Really? I mean I'd like to do something as I enjoy playing through the break up. I'm just hesitant to do anything that will ruin rp for people. Maybe I'll do this separate from IRS so people can use it only if they want.

Hehe, you got ToP again, the curse is baaack...lol

I think you'd do one heck of a job of it, cme, and everyone would want it.

edit:  wow, new armor again that looks great, and the tattoos are very cool.

I say go for it.  Imo, since your the one puttng in all the work and sharing it with us you deserve a little leeway if not everyone has the same ideas. Making it optional is a good way to avoid someone having to miss out on IRS if they don't want the breakup.

You know, this might be one I shouldn't touch as everyone views it differently. The truth? I was ANGRY, and it actually did lower my opinion of him a bit. 1) In front of our friends 2) Make sure to tell me that you are gonna take a wife and have a baby, because thats just what I want to hear from the man who is breaking my heart. Then I rped it different with a mage who basically agreed with him that it was best. I honestly for the most part felt he was sad enough, with the correct dlg picks.

Yeah, I never got "stoic" about it at all.  He's devastated.  Just thinking about "I'd give it all up for the one thing I really want" makes me verklemmt.

The only thing I object to in that scene is that it's public and that never really bothered me too much.  Maybe because I never break up with him except for testing purposes.  Posted Image

I always thought he'd be stoic at first. No matter what he feels inside, he has to do what he thinks is best for Ferelden (let me say it yet again today) he does the 'avant que d'être à vous je suis à mon pays' (trans. above belonging to you I belong to my country) bit, even though it means breaking both their hearts.

Seeing the warden's reaction, though - that's when it would break through his stiff back and would let his emotions out.  Although...I don't know how sympathetic he really should be since he's the one who is perpetrating this misery.  I'm making an assumption here that it's alistair breaking it off.  Maybe a kick to his kneecap should be part of the scene, as well!

I actually made Anora queen on my first go through so I didn't get this scene until later (by which time I already knew about it). I RP it in various ways, but would love to see it expanded with a later scene. My canon Warden took it pretty bad. She basically ended up feeding him to the Archdemon. then she went off teh deep end. heaven knows what she'll do when she meets Morrigan again, I think she blames her for not forcing her to do the ritual =P. She's more than a little unhinged by this point.

Judging from the comments, I'll have to download the "more options" mod for the sheer hilarity.

So, if I were to make a "break up" scene, for the player who allows the landsmeet breakup to happen, what would you want to see?

Am I the only one whose first thought was angry break up sex?

Damn it.

LOL You and LadyD share a gene I never got.  I do appreciate tragedy, but in the game I want my candy-ass ending.  US always felt anti-climactic.

How about some extra sauce for those who convince him to keep you?  I always thought after he says "damn them all, I'm going to do what I want," he ought to grab the Warden and stick his tongue down her throat so the people in the room really have something to see.  And put Eamon front and center, please.

I'm listening to the Dragon Age podcast now.  If anyone else is interested, they start talking about the toolset at about 2 hours, 21 minutes.  They've been talking about plug ins and the ability to use it with Awakening.

Teagan!  I keep asking ... why hasn't anyone done a Teagan romance mod?

Actually there is a team working on a Teagan Romance mod.  I've written some of the dialogue for it already, though my contribution will be minor as I don't have skills with Toolset.

I'm doing bits here and there of all of them. The male version will follow the next IRS, since it will be built off it. I *think* I am happy with what I released today.

And thanks I like you the way you are too :3

I have fallen asleep twice!  I've listened to the whole podcast because I had no idea when they'd start talking about it.  Basically, he (I think it's Fernando Melo?) said they are planning on introducing player made plug-ins to the toolset.  And they have already worked on getting the Awakening (not sure about dlc) stuff available to the toolset, but he didn't give a date on when it would be released.  He said they are hoping to be able to introduce popular mods to players within the dlc system, so you can download them into the game (for free) like dlc is downloaded.

I hope someone with a better attention span can give a better report.  I keep getting interrupted.  My dog decided I've been sitting in front of my computer too long, and he's been shrieking at me.  It's hard to hear the bioware guys over him.
