BTW Loggy doesn't even get a mention, I despise him that much.

I could never execute Alistair either, though I'm kinda glad my Origins playing days are mostly behind me because I'm afraid it would be puppy eyes from here on out.  I just can't watch the Loghain execution scene any more.  It took hours of trying to think through the character's eyes to do it, but you know the saying about walking a mile in a man's shoes.  It just seems like a terrible waste now.

However I don't "proselytize", since even though I always liked Loghain in TST, I always felt it was right he be executed.  Walked more than mile in the hater's shoes, too. 

@KoP, you're right, I'm not willing to trawl through pages and pages so we can leave the topic as you've obviously had enough.  For me it comes down to not being willing to take the step of faith necessary.  I did spare the Architect on one game (pissed oh so many of my team off to do it, heh) but it didn't feel right, just as burning Amaranthine never feels right either.

And your point is *shrug*

I'm reading a story right now which has Leliana and Alistair as main pairing, because he is the last Warden. Or rather how Darkspawn chronicles would have looked like if it had a coherent story.

I kind of like the Leliana/Alistair pairing *shrugs* She annoys most of my characters (who are not friendly to the Chantry) and me (Her accent, while not as annoying as say isoldes, is enough to set me on edge) and honestly between their goodness and notions about love and such, they seem to make a better match. Though I always imagine her flipping a **** when he gives her the Makers Rose.

Yea, I think Alistair and Leliana would go well together, hardened or no. I can see Morrigan and Zevran developing sexual tension, but I can't see them going for more than that. But I can see Alistair and Leliana in a long term relationship. They both want the same thing and for the most part, can satisfy each other....emotionally. Physically, well Leliana will have to do some training.

On an unrelated note, I'm currently writing a little one shot about the Templars' (led by Ser Bryant) last stand trying to defend Lothering long enough for people to run if anyone would be interested in reading it/telling me what they thought once it's done >.> <.<

Haha, yeah. In that story it is just some rose, not THE rose. But I actually plan to seize this little comedy situation in my own FF. So when Lenya is talking with Leliana the first time in months (my Dalish doesn't really have a fondness for her, lol) I will have Alistair sit next to them and listening to their talk. Evening shift, whatevers. At the part where Leliana is talking about the Maker rose, he is going to hem and hum, and has suddenly the urge to...stand up and leave. Your gif fits perfectly to Alistair's reaction btw, so edit my post to include it once more.

It doesn't have to be the same one for him to suddenly get paranoid, after all.
