See, I always kinda just went "Rose picked in Lothering... still alive after all this time.... Leliana saw a rose that she thinks bloomed forth from the Maker in Lothering... Holy Crap, it's the same rose!" and then giggled manically whenever I thought about how Leliana would react to it.

Well it is...Alistair, after all. Never forget that. Also the description fits perfectly to the rose he had found in Lothering, so it would be a shame to leave out that tidbit. Tis going to be fun.

BTW, I'm writing currently the Zevran ambush and Lenya is very very p*ssed atm, so cross your fingers for Zevran that she doesn't want to do her stabbity thingie. I can promise nothing here, really...but I'll do my best to hold her twitchy little fingers back from it xD

@Merilsell - I would cross my fingers for Zevran, but the chances of Lenya killing him later on for being a lecher are pretty high

Well she has managed to endure Oghren and he is even traveling with them now, why shouldn't she endure Zevran then, who is far more bearable once you get to know him. Also he is having a big role in my FF, so nah not going to happen. I love Zev too much for that.

I was at the London EA presentation this morning. One of the things Mike Laidlaw said in answer to a question was that when they selected what would carry over they tried to emphasise the important things. "Who was the King of Ferelden" was one of those things he mentioned. Of course that is no guarantee that we'll see a King Ali but one can hope.
