I dunno. I really wouldn't want him as a cameo in DA2 if all we get is some lame ass disconnected encounter with him as a stranger. After romancing the boy through almost every playthrough except my HNM (And heck he even NINJA loved my HNM once) I don't think I could stand a less than friendly encounter. I'd rather not see him at all if that's all we get.



Nate at least has a chance to be a companion for at least a little while with the Hawke since its about (A year? 2 years?) after Lothering and before he goes back to Amaranthine?

Yeah, I'm with you here. Honestly I think I'd rather leave DAO in DAO.

Well, Anora is hardly a general and it's not like Ferelden has all that many of them. Plus, the guy they all thought of as their best is either too busy being dead or wishing he were dead to help.

I can imagine it now...Arcturus standing there watching his troops do the exact opposite of what he told them and epic facepalming as the qunari have a field day

There would be quite a purge in the army if that happens.

This part makes me headdesk when I'm a mage and in a romance with Alistair. "Connor, a mage! I can't believe it!" Yeah sort of like ME!

I always take that that he's baffled to hear that Connor has magic talents not appealed, actually. Oh and while we are at it, with Alonis I had Connor killed by Isolde for the first time. That was also the first time I felt sorry for her. Hard one, but my Warden just couldn't kill him off after the fight. I thought there was a chance to back off after all but then Isolde went on her killing spree. Oops. Actually, I was just talking with Connor and tumbled somehow in the fight and planned to reload. Though then it felt right in all its wrongness, so I kept it as 'sort of happened' event and didn't reload.

Kinda amazing that after 5 playthroughs that I still can find things in DAO I didn't know/haven't played this way.

There will be a summarize up from the chat, you just have to wait a little I loved that they have already planned the world far beyond DA2, so everything comes down to a greater scheme to which even the choices made in DAA play their part.That sounds like an interesting concept. I'm a big fan of the ME-continualness, so I hope it will work similar in the end.

I suspect that the Awakening ending was leading to an expansion that was tossed aside when they decided to make the gameplay all ME2 and stop spending time and money on DA:O. I suspect it will never be mentioned again, or maybe as a sidenote in a future game.

We are talking about continuity and the fact that our confidence isn't high because of Awakening. So them saying Alistair in DA2 doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing.

Thanks, and whew! I'd forgotten how many config options there were in Natural Bodies.

I just downloaded them as two separate mods since it was easier for me to deal with only one reconfiguration. But then I don't do well when I have to do too much to fix mods to work on my PC.

Actually there is a team working on a Teagan Romance mod.  I've written some of the dialogue for it already, though my contribution will be minor as I don't have skills with Toolset.

They won't kill Alistair unless a queen Anora could die the same way, and since Anora wouldn't be leading her troops, that wouldn't be possible. Unless Hawke actually invades Ferelden and kills the monarch, and/or the wardens (in case of a warden Alistair ending), Alistair is almost certainly safe. And I doubt very much that they plan on destroying Ferelden right after we saved it.

I'm pretty sure that the Awakening ending was meant to lead to an expansion that was abandoned, and is now meaningless.
