I wasn't jumping on you.  I was merely pointing out that most of the origins, and I would say Cousland is the exception, don't give you much more than what we see in the demo.  *shrugs*  That's all.

Anyhow, in DA2, at least we will have one sibling accompanying us throughout the game, so maybe it will develop a sense of family better than Origins, who knows. A shame that the female I find the most attractive is Bethany. Sigh.

Same!  The combat is soooo much fun.  It's like 10x faster than DAO.  At least from a 2h War's perspective.  I'm actually a little giddy.

It was pretty hard to tell with the model in DA:O. Heres Morrigan, gorgeous and sleak and...Flemeth...dull looking old woman.

Same here , and I did not expect to like it so much. It's only a short demo but I already see nice outlines for all kinds of story and discussion topics. I was also pleasantly surprised about the looks since I was not really impressed by the screenshots I saw so far. Cannot wait to play it on dx11.

You can when you meet Wesley.  I told him, "Stay away from my sister" (I was a warrior but funny how he ignores you if you are a mage) and got +20 friendship with Bethany.  My lament isn't so much that she's my sister it's that I really REALLY like mages and it means she will be dying on a lot of my playthroughs.  Carver on the other hand wasn't nearly as engaging as she was, and frankly died more often than I would like. S&S > 2 handers on my monitor...but then I admittedly don't know much about the build anyway.  Just seemed Carver got carved a lot.  As he starts in the rivalry zone (vs friendship) I get the feeling he will end up being a lot more entertaining once the game kicks in.  Still, I suspect I will be playing a rogue/warrior a lot more often than I usually do.
BTW Anyone see the video with Fenris's appearance in it? His voice just blew me out of the water.  That's so being my first run through romance.  He just looks intriguing!!

I'm downloading the demo now, but probably wont play it for a few days. I'm not that bothered, but am curious at least to get a taste of the new system, see if the writing hints at something greater further on. But if I get the same error that you do and can't play it, I won't be bothered. I still have my pixilated man-harem from origins (Alistair, Loghain, Teagan, Gorim, Zevran, Bryland, Cullen, ect) that needs constant love-piling.
