Yeah, so true. I was trying to get the tower done today with her, actually but then they started their sneak a peek- game and I was busy for the next 30 minutes with giggling and taking 9539493 of screenshots. The PC-version is deathly for me, I swear. I never get a quest done because I'm too busy to hammer the Fraps button. Lol.

I won't do the DR in a long time, I guess. I had 6 chapter written about them and now I don't want to hear about that place until it is time for Lenya's Calling. Oh wait...she won't return to the DR then either. Lucky me.

Anyway, I write more about DA:O atm than that I actually game it. I simply get too easily distracted, as my pic-spam shows. *shakes fist at the screenshot function* ...I'm however not done with that game and concerning my super-fast speed to play one character (lol) I probably won't until I'm forty. But that fits because that is my deadline for my FF too. Damn only 11 years left. Lol.

@Ely- Haha, exactly. I love when a character is looking all innocent. Makes stabbing the guys laughing over her because they don't take her serious all the sweeter.

@Elysis - It's really funny, but I actually don't mind the Deep Roads. I think I'm one of the few who don't. Now Orzammar itself is another story. I get really tired of running all over that massive map.

I don't mind the Deep Roads. HATE the Fade, however. Hate hate hate. And I'm on a console, so I can't use the super-awesome "skip the Fade" mod. >_<

Yeah, I hate the fade with passion too. Guess this will show through Lenya in my FF then, lol. She will mope around a LOT while being there. More than usual, I mean xD

But since I got DA for PC now, I actually look forward to use the "skip the fade" Mod for the first time. Then again, I'll be probably too distracted to ever come so far *glares at Fraps*

I tend to blast Dragonforce and Ensiferum while running through the Deep Roads. But how can you hate them?!

thought to be untouchable. We slew the six-titted Brood Mother that spawns these  monstrosities in dark and festering caves that will never know the sun,  stopped an insane paragon-prophet from reinstating the sacrifices of  thousands of innocents that makes Blood Magic look like it came out of a Harry Potter novel, fought alongside an ancient warrior trapped inside  one of his own constructs for nigh a thousand years, and destroyed our  best chance at stopping the Blight because sod it all, it was the right  thing to do.

They're the most epic part of the game!

It's a funny thing about me and the Fade. I came to DAO from Oblivion and one of the things that most annoyed me in the beginning was having to have these companions following me about.

I can't tell you when my feelings about them changed, but I absolutely know the first moment I noticed that change... finding myself in the Fade, alone. I was furious! How dare this game steal my friends away from me!

Now, I don't know if I'll like Skyrim when it comes out since I'll be back to travelling the world all alone. A complete 180 in my thinking.

I'm a fan of both viewpoints. On one hand, travelling with companions makes the story richer from multiple perspectives and gives me someone to talk to. But on the other hand, I always thought while running around the world in Oblivion it was kind of cool to be out there on my own exploring the world and seeing what I could see and go wherever I wanted to go.

Then I became a Vampire and lost the ability to do anything during the day >.<

@Inquartata I feel your pain, every time I get dropped into the Fade I rage quit for an hour before I sit down to do the tediuous bullcrap.

Granted, Ive gotten to the point where I can do the entire Fade: Lost in Dreams quest in about 30-40 minutes because Ive done it so many damn times and I know exactly where everything is

That has to be the most epic thing ever written about the game.  I hate the deep roads.  Its dark and it takes way too long and I think someone already told me I would make a terrible dwarf, but thanks to this I'm going for it.  Right now.  Well in like 10 minutes.

I actually liked the Fade because it was one big puzzle challenge: from the labyrinthine maps and devising the way to get around them to finding the most optimal form(s) with which to defeat your opponents...

Hehehe....good times, good times.

But yeah, I just got done on a 2 month stint with Oblivion, I did ok but I was a bit lonely. So I downloaded CM companions! And since they've already announced a powerful toolset for DA2...there will be another companion mod made for Skyrim I'm sure.

 I really don't understand why people hate the Fade and the Deep Roads.

First of all, Deep Roads is (fair enough) long, BUT I find running around Orzammar extremely annoying, like Tig said.
Second of all...

I LOVE THE FADE! RAWR! It's my favorite part in the whooooollleeeeee gaaaaaammmmeeeeee!

I love the deep roads. It's like an archeological wonderland. All the time, I was trying to imagine what the old Dwarven kingdoms might have looked like.

I hate the deeproads and Snorzammar with a fiery purple passion. Sticking my head in my car door and slamming it a few times would be more fun. The only thing that makes it halfway tolerable is Haste spell cause i can dash through most of it quickly. I dislike both candidates for the throne and wish I could feed them to the darkspawn and put the Steward on the throne or something.
Or Sandal. Hell, Sandal has more smarts in his left big toe than both bozos vying for the throne.

Haha Jon my roommates are doing the same thing right now, fighting over who gets to use the xbox to try and get their playthroughs done in time.

It's funny that they think I'm going to let them play my copy of DA2 before I have the story done. And I'm hiding the disc when I'm at school. I refuse to let them spoil the game for me like they do with every other game I buy because they dont go to uni 5 days of the week like I do >.<

LOL I only have one I will be importing from for most of the games (Queen Cousland). I don't plan on giving up on Alistair and the others though I will probably play a lot of DA2 when I get it.  I'd like to do another Amell since Hawke is Amell's cousin but for now I have my 'import' canon.

I'm trying to find a spoiler free way to tell him that Loghain is a companion.

I told him there's no good outcome in the landsmeet (partially true) and he called me a dick
