Ugh I might actually be able to finish Fall of Lothering this week, I got screwed doing a 10 page short story for my Fiction Writing class and that took up all of my time

I haz played the Demo again (shocking I know) just because I could customize F!Hawke through a mod. It was nice to omit default Hawke ASAP but the constant battles there were grating on my nerves, so I didn't play it to the end. I miss a toolset for DA2 though, the CC is the same crappy one like the one DA:O, and it is nearly impossible to get a decent looking face with these presets. Meh.

The demo was just bits and pieces put together to show the dialog wheel and the combat. I'm not using it as a basis of what the actual game will be. I don't think we saw things in actual context, or at full completion.

Wow. That's pretty awful. I think all the models in DA2 look pretty bad. There's something really off about the male arms, for instance, and the female animation is a real throwback. But elves got it the worst. Everything about the game makes me think that I'm going to play it once for the story and stick it in a drawer.

The design shows the flaws that all the models share--big round chins, small round mouths, and virtually no cheeks at all, among other things. And the flat shading doesn't help. I expect that all our companions that might appear  will look equally bad, including Alistair, sadly.

Probably going to do the drunk Alistair ending this time with my third female Cousland. I'm about to do the Save the Queen quest. I haven't touched this playthrough in months. Props to Tim Curry's voice acting-Arl Howe said two words and I immediately wanted to stab him. Cousland family sword to the face!

Also, I actually shrieked at that picture.
