That was awesome Meril xD

Aaaaand now I'm doing a new playthrough of Dragon Age. I'm extremely bored hoping without hope for the goodness of DA2 so I'm inoculating myself with yet more Origins. Think I might play a Warrior this time....

Eh, I can contribute by saying that... I look forward to his cameo?

Nah, tis dying just like the other threads. It's only natural with DA2 so close.

Oh, I love what you did with the siggy! GIFs for the win! :P

Well, if the goal is to keep the thread's activity up, I could lurk less and post more, but then everyone would have to put up with me. >_>

Since I only started playing Dragon Age a couple of months ago, I'm not really that tempted by DA2, so I'll be around for some time to come, I'm sure. I also feel like I'm mere inches from the point where I start making a regular habit of drawing fanart, or maybe even gather the nerve to write fanfiction. (EDIT: Should note that I mean that while I do write a lot of fanfiction as is, it's only ever been for one particular fandom, so to add a second would be...really interesting.)

Well, the arguing and such seems to have died down. That's why I haven't been coming around. It's been very unsqueeful. If it stays peaceful/fun, I'll start posting stuff again. I posted my contest stuff over in the community creations section, but here's a new picture from my post-contest piece.

I forgot to say, I went over there and read/looked at it when you had posted a link, and very much enjoyed those little conversations that went with each picture. (And, naturally, the pictures themselves.)
I promise I'm not a creepy stalker; this thread is just always up in my tabs so it's one of my standard "but I don't wanna grade physics labs" distraction-pages. (No joke, there's a pile of labs beside me and my bribe to myself is that for every two I grade, I get to go through all my pages and see if anything new happened. And eat a bite of cheese.)

Lol! No one thinks you're a creepy stalker, honest. :) *Thinks it's cool that you can do physics* Glad you enjoyed them!

Haha, sure doesn't feel like I can do physics. (Just a lowly undergrad here; but since our department is so small, there's no grad program, and so we undergrads get put in charge of teaching physics labs. [Edit: Well, not in charge in charge -- we don't make the cirriculum or design the experiments -- but pretty much everything else.] It's pretty cool.)

I particularly enjoyed the apple-smiting...heh heh. The bandit bit was also great, especially the picture.

I'm sorry, school is kickin my ASS. Why didn't someone TELL me that four classes is ALOT for any semester let alone your first? To top it off I had about 17 teeth pulled last Thursday...thank you genetics!

So I haven't had much time to play since the  semester started. And when I started to, I was knocked out and had my surgey done and ended up like this in my Crime Scene Investigation class on monday.

At least now I can go without the big pain meds and stick with over the counter ibuprofen.

Yuck, major dental work is definitely on the top ten list of greatest fears for me (doubly because of the whole major pain killers thing...). I do not envy you. At least it resulted in a delightful mini-comic-strip? (And what does one use to process fingerprints on paper?)

I think I lucked out with school this semester. For instance, my quantum theory prof is too lazy/forgetful/distracted to give us tests. *tears of joy*

For a tiny bit of on-topicness, I think I saw a picture like this some time back and when I got to this point last week I had to try it myself. (Egh, forgot to take off all the display stuff though.)

Because this character happens to get a kick out of harassing Alistair, in that "you bully the one you refuse to accept that you sort of have a thing for" kind of way.

I haven't gotten to the actual answer yet, my professor LOVES the fingerprint section of the class, and by love I mean we went through the chemicals and things that make UP a fingerprint, and the charts and symbols for every chemical used to view them so for now I'll say...Very Carefully?

And Even Alistair is confused by it!

I was sound asleep AND gassed for my surgery, that's the only way I would do it. My Dad and Grandmother had horrible teeth, and dentures by 40.  Plus  our roots hook around jawbones, and corkscrew. So they gave me laughing gas and put me to sleep, and I didn't feel a thing.

Haha, I see. Well, sounds interesting, anyway -- but I think everything is interesting.
Imagining Alistair attempting to analyze which chemical to use for a fingerprint...failing. XD

Yikes! I'm not sure about my family's teeth genetics...
I'm freaked out about the thought of being conscious during dental work (though I can tolerate having cavities filled, sort of, kind of), but I am equally freaked out by the idea of being put under or otherwise generally messed with.

Yum.

This line gives me the shivers every time. Since I only semi care for DA2 and still need to get a playthrough done on PC before I can game what is called DA2, I'm not going anywhere either. If I wouldn't be so lazy I would upload a chock-full of pics of my character, Lenya's journey, so to speak. Ah well.

BTW why aren't we doing prompts anymore? This has been always fun and creative. Even the Zev-fans are still doing this, despite an approaching DA2.

Well I will write on on my story now :)

Hello Meri, how is it going?
Oh fine, a bit tired but fine nonetheless. Thanks for asking.
Oh, you are welcome.
Lol.

Well, have an Ali-puppy face:

Okay.

Listening to Alistair's rant about me sparing Loghain taught me something.
Steve V really nails that PISSED OFF voice very well.

Hi Meri! I'm back. Snockered, but back.

Glor - my nephew won a Merlin!! Best street magic show. Just got back from party @ TV studio. Yahoo! *hiccup*

No, no, no Giggles - I'm not going to listen to mad Alistair voice. Heard the lamp post just before I left and I'm not letting go of it yet.
