He is like the only companion who YELLS really.

At the warden really, Oghren yells though but not really at the warden or all that well.

Hah for a top:

He has very strong opinions about a lot of thing and is willing to stand up for them vigorously. I think that's an early clue that he isn't really a follower, much as he's been trained to think he is.

Which shows how weak and excessively emotional his whole position is (children yell in opposition too, very loudly in fact).

Sten didn't need to yell to make his point. And challenges your authority on rational / pragmatic grounds.

It's hard not to add my input when his attitude in the Landsmeet is seriously being used as evidence that he is a natural born leader.

@ Giggles.
But the Joker looks like he is looking forward to it. Not what's happening here.

Heya Meri! :-) How are you on this glorious day?

Had been not so glorious for me. Been fretting about how to write my next chapter and have yet not came to a conclusion. Meh. However I like when companions are voicing her opinion loud and clear instead of to grin and finding everything super-awesome what the player does. And besides angry Alistair is hot.

Catspaw: Congratz to your nephew. Quite the achievement, indeed.

I actually just recently decided to take Sten with me and not leave him in camp and I was pleasantly surprised at how he stands up to you. Made me (well, my warden) respect him a whole lot more.
I love Alistair, I LOVE him, but he's a boy, not a man.

It tends to ****** off Elizabeth.

Sten really is awesome.

I love hearing the sense of loss in his voice when he talks about missing his home:
"I miss the smells of Seheron. Tea and Incense, and the sea"

I like how he sounds...dark for the lack of a better word when talking about the Tal vashoth. Quiet, yet so expressive of anger and disgust.

I loved hearing how outraged and disgusted Sten could be yet his voice always was under control.

And that makes whatever emotion he expresses that much more meaningful. At post-coronation, Sten almost always makes me want to tear up.

Having emotions is not a weakness.
Being cruel & heartless is.

And once again, my post is interpreted to mean that I think having emotions is a weakness. Which is not what I said at all. Having an emotion is once thing. Letting it override reason and common sense and letting it go beyond one's control is another. The latter I deem as weakness.

*is sad that the Alistair thread is dying*

I'm sorry, school is kickin my ASS. Why didn't someone TELL me that four classes is ALOT for any semester let alone your first? To top it off I had about 17 teeth pulled last Thursday...thank you genetics!

So I haven't had much time to play since the  semester started. And when I started to, I was knocked out and had my surgey done and ended up like this in my Crime Scene Investigation class on monday.

At least now I can go without the big pain meds and stick with over the counter ibuprofen.

What is your major? Congratulations! It does get easier, take if from another adult student. This is my 3rd year (no degree yet, I've been taking semesters off here and there to deal with rl)

Speaking of angry Alistair, I actually attempted to doodle him today...it turned out somewhat...meh.

I think it would have been better if I'd have gotten off my lazy butt and looked at some references. :pinched:

I'm sad because I'm trying to make a Hawk character & she keeps coming out fugly. The people were so much better looking in DAO. I just wated to post a reminder of the former hotness they abandoned. Maybe they made the boobs so big so that we wouldn't look at the ugly faces:

Yep, I find the face-shape (which you can't change without a toolset...or at all if that is the new design) really off.

Pancakeface FTW >__>

Although I'm not a die hard Alistair fan like my sister (She is getting a tattoo of him *cough*) He is still my brother from another mother. (An Orlesian Mage (according to the Calling)) And my partner in crime. So here is my version of Alistair in my fan fiction/novel A Bard's Love. My chapters are lacking him however but I'm going to rectify that very soon when I rewrite most of them before DA2 comes out in about a week.

That's great, Spartan! I like really like the colors in that. He was also best buds with my guy in my guy play through. I wish there would have been more to say to him later on in the game. When your playing his girlfriend, you can always get a kiss (or something) from him later on, but with a guy it gets a little disconnected later in the game.

Edit - I looked at the other pictures you made, they are all great. leliana looks fantastic.
