Dankeshe, I demand a bro bump animation mod for whenever you choose or say something Alistair approves he bro bumps you. Or at least a smile and a nod.
That would have been cool! They could use the nod animation used just before finishing Loghain.
Here is a top of page for you:

I make sure to make Eamon's life a lot more unpleasant through Lenya, though. A hell LOT more

And as a witty fellow forum person in a random thread once put it :
"Isolde is a b*tch, Connor is an abomination, and Eamon won't let my dog duel Loghain. They all deserve to die."
EDIT : ...Too much? Fiiine.

Heh.

Not commenting on that
But yeah his whole THEIRIN obsession plus his prior and current treatment of Alistair does not add to sympathy for Lenya. Mildly put. Not to mention his attempts to get rid of her because *gasp* ELF... or better say the attemps to marry Alistair off to a noble woman/ Anora
Won't end pretty
And then there is Eamon's lovely wife on top of that....

Yeah...I so don't want to miss the character dynamic developing between those two, so Eamon will live.

Elysis... I may be lifting part of that quote into my story. Specifically the Isolde is a b*tch part >.> <.<

He was bright enough to give himself Templar skills through hard work and concentration rather than lyrium... He's bright enough to see the Chantry set up for what it is a be quite critical of it (while still remaining devout). When you ask him what he liked most about the Templars he says it was studying...
He's got a good sense of humour some of his descriptions of other characters are spot on, "One Archdemon short of a Blight..." "I wish I could be drunk all the time..." but he's not nasty, he's as likely to turn it on himself.
He's good at summing up a situation: "She's quite the little tyrant..."
I think Alistair's problem is that he is bright but not serious, solemn or self-interested and people, not too bright people, I must say, often equate intelligence with seriousness or selfishness.

So how many forumites find it contradictory that Alistair is not supposed to be very bright? In the real world, sarcasm and wit are indicators of above-average intelligence. So he's got the body of a quarterback--so do most of the human males in Ferelden. What gives?
I don't think wit is necessarily an indicator of intelligence, though there are many types of intelligence. Academic, "street smarts", "money smarts", cunning...etc.
I don't think Alistair is very or exceptionally bright, but he is not stupid either. He's goofy, but it would be superficial to dismiss him as stupid just based on that. He's bright, and he was good at Templar studies. And apparently he was good at mental discipline (sadly we see none of that in the game).
I'd say he is fairly intelligent, and can have critical thinking. His main problem however is will, or lack thereof. And that he'd rather "follow his heart" and not his head in many instances. So it's not the capacity he lacks, but the will and "methodology" for the lack of a better word. Which could be fixed if hardened, though I didn't see that much improvement in the game.
I don't find him very intelligent or exceptionally so, unlike say Anora, Zevran and Bhelen. But he is certainly bright and not stupid (most of the time).

I think that if he is king and Loghain dies killing the Archdemon, or lives that he will learn one of life's hard lessons right there. One that he REALLY needs to learn.

Elaborate. Are you saying what I said contradicts what you said, or that it's the same.
