@Errant -- you have just spent four hours at a party where you knew very few people. Do you feel energized or wiped out?  Were you talking to various people or did you spend all night with just a couple of people? If the former, you're an extravert. If the latter, you're an introvert. That's the simplest way for me to tell. You can be smack in the middle too though; it's a continuum, after all.

Hmm. It depends on whether I find them interesting. I've done both. But I'd probably try talking to everyone trying to locate the ones I found interesting. Or maybe I really am in the middle.

You probably are right in the middle.  Like with me, I'm only 1% of the s&t, so I have a very mressy desk & can be very unorganised.  But when I start organising stuff, I kind of go crazy with it (maybe I'm just OCD).

I'm in the process of posting my story, 'Remnant's Enduring'. I'll be making a proper post about it when I'm done, but the first 17 chapters are up here:

:(Wow. I just did the Landsmeet and Alistair got exiled. It was kind of like watching a trainwreck. Now I"m depressed. It's all your fault, Mr. Gaider! And yours, Steve Valentine! And yours, guy who did the facial animations! I feel like I kicked a puppy. The cameo in DA2 had better be worth it, since it's the only reason I'm doing this ending. :crying: Well, that and the chance to see how much approval I can lose in one conversation with Loghain.

And I'll have to listen to Anora's screeching before the final battle. Argh. Way to make me feel guilty and also punish my ears, game.

I liked Anora's screeching, then again my Warden proposed to her on the sly before Morrigan even announced she'd be running off on him.Image IPB

But yeah, what is worse than getting him exiled is getting his ass executed. Some of the Warden's dialogue choices are just f**king cold blooded.Image IPB

Anora's screeching at the beginning of the Final Battle is literally the only reason I've yet to even attempt a Redeemer ending for Loghain and have never made her solo queen. Gah

Okay, I have to know if this has happened to anyone else (maybe it's a common occurrence). I just now loaded up my game (saved last night after entering Orzammar) and I turn around to find Alistair...naked! (Well, I mean, I have the mod that allows such, but his armor is nowhere to be found. At all.) When I saved last night he was wearing the Warden Commander armor...now...nothing! The armor seems to have disappeared from the game entirely.

All right, Alistair, who elected you leader while I was gone? *snicker*

Funnier when I switch over to him and hear a suggestive, "At your service..."

@Bite

It's possible that your download of Soldiers Peak was corrupted when you loaded the game and thus it didnt read the existence of the Warden commander armor.

You mean like it just happened to happen when I loaded the game that time? (Well, I mean, I tried reloading it a number of times after that, but it didn't help -- perhaps I need to exit the game entirely? I checked back in previous post-Soldier's-Peak-pre-anyone-wearing-the-armor saves and the armor is no longer in my inventory in those.)
Sorry, I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the inner workings of the game, so I feel like I can't form a coherent question. :pinched:

It's happened to me before on my xbox, the DLC file was corrupted and I had to redownload it. Granted, it only happened the once and when it happened again it wouldnt even let me load the game until I redownloaded the entire content over again

The whole story is posted now. Rather than spamming story info all across the board, I'll just put the link to my community creations post here.
http://social.biowar...7/index/6385275

It's called 'Remnants Enduring' and has 54 illustrations made with the toolset, two per chapter.

@Glor: Wow, how strange. So it's possible that even though the entire playthrough of Soldier's Peak seemed to go smoothly, and I had the armor for some time thereafter, something in the file was messed up such that the game arbitrarily decided to forget the armor existed?

Ah well, I won't worry over it too much. For one thing, this is just a laptop I'm borrowing from my dad until my laptop is fixed... (Though hilariously enough, when it died [I think the video card got fried or something], anytime I tried to boot the laptop up these DA-esque blood stains popped up around the edges of the screen. Bahaha. I wish I would have taken a picture.)

Anyway, though, thanks for answering my question!

EDIT: Hm, this is a little unsettling...in the middle of a battle I switched from my staff to my sword and the staff ceased to exist in the same fashion, including in previous saves. Shoot. (I don't remember which one it was -- maybe there's a slight chance it was something else I picked up at Soldier's Peak? I hope? Maybe?)

Eh, I think you're using the wrong tags errant. Just use [ url ]link[ /url ] (minus the spaces), the same way you'd use them in the forums.

If you don't want to display the adress but rather some other text you do: [ url=http://...]TEXT[/url]

Example:

Without space:

That's what Mute buttons are for.  Anora's harpy screech before the battle is just inappropriate.  She isn't leading ANYone into battle, she isn't a general.  I don't know why (aside from she is queen) she is even giving the damn thing.  All it inspires me to want to do is cut out her tongue.  If she rules alone and Alistair is exiled, I'd prefer that Riordan or even (UGH) Loghain with his *I gargle with razor blades* voice (now I have to go wash my mouth out with Scope to get rid of the bile taste that left in my mouth) give the damn thing since PC is silent than her.  At least that would make more sense than someone who isn't even going to be fighting.
She should stick to running the country not giving speeches.
And I leave Anora in charge, solo approximately 50% of my games now.  Currently on file I have one Alistair solo, one Alistair/HNF, one Anora solo with exiled Alistair and my current run will be another Anora solo.  Haven't made up my mind if my Dalish will US or run off into the sunset with Alistair yet.  I would like to see the "US Alistair not king slide", which I haven't seen yet.
Maybe i'll do both...

@Bite

If it was Wintersbreath it's also from Wardens Peak. The best bet is to redownload the DLC and reapply it to the game. OR a fix that works on the xbox is to turn the machine off, wait 10 minutes, make sure you have an established connection that can connect you to the Dragon Age servers, and turn the game back on. That fixed the problem for me just recently

Seriously! This was my post;

Well, I guess as one of those complainers, that makes me a whiny troll just because I don't like some of the changes that have been made with the gameplay? Allow me to sum up my feelings very quickly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am a Console Gamer that does not have a PC really capable of playing games that came out after Diablo 2. So obviously, most of my gaming is done on the console (Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, etc etc) and Bioware has always been my top gaming company because they introduced me to RPGs with KotOR 1 as my first xbox game (never was a big gamer before this point). Fell in love immediately - this was my character, I could make him whoever I wanted him to be - the roguish badass, the diplomatic good guy, or evil "for the lulz". I especially enjoyed the more text based ones (as in, I pick a sentence of dialogue as what my character says. I know exactly what my character said, how it sounded in my mind, the tone etc etc).
After that, I started branching out into other RPG games and it rapidly became my favorite genre. And Bioware made three of my favorites (Dragon Age, KotOR, and Baldurs Gate[played on my friends computer]) Then came Mass Effect.. I tried, I really did. But the Dialogue Wheel ("No" ended up voiced as "Go to hell" or the equivalent so many times...) and the voiced PC kind of screwed the immersion for me. I didnt think of it as my Spectre, me making the decisions and driving the story. I just kept thinking of it as Shepard, like I was playing a Halo game where I had dialogue and story options for Master Chief. Regardless, Mass Effect had a driving story and compelling characters, what I had come to expect and love from Bioware. I could live with that
I can live with the ridiculously fast combat speed and a man who is swinging a 2h sword around like it's a pool noodle. I can live with not being able to talk with my companions anywhere like I got to in DA:O, even though I felt that it added a depth to the character and made me feel like we were actually out questing across Ferelden rather than the random people who follow me around in battle making witty rejoinders (ala Awakening). I can even live with not being able to choose a fantastical race in a fantasy world and accept that I'm playing as a Human.
But what I cannot accept is being told that because I enjoy dialogue trees, a more moderate combat speed, and the ability to play as an elf in a fantasy world I'm some sort of hateful spiteful fringe gamer who deserves to be marginalized and spammed with hatred every time I give my opinion on the new direction the intellectual property that I enjoy so much has taken. I will not go away, and I will not be called stupid just because I have a dissenting opinion.
I'm going to play Dragon Age 2, and I know that I'm going to have a compelling story with deep characters and choices that will have echoing effects on the world around me. But it's not going to be like playing my very own Revan or Warden. Based on the demo, I sincerely doubt that I'm going to feel like I've been transported from my room and that I'm in Ferelden as the son of a noble house or a wielder of magic and a harbinger of fear , where the choices I make are more real than anything else and the grouping of pixels that travel with me are my friends. I'm going to be the guy on the other side of the screen in a drab apartment selecting dialogue options based on an icon and three words leading to a soliloquy and spamming the attack button until everyone is dead.
*shrugs*
So how about instead of bashing those of us who actually have an opinion besides "Ooh shiny!" you just accept that we're just as allowed to share our opinions on the Social boards as you are and get over it.
TL:DR -As one of those complainers, I resent being called a whiny stupid troll so you can take your elitism and shove it where the sun don't shine.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Fin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Apparently I'm some evil stupid whiny troll who just needs to STFU and get off the boards. :whistle:

And Lenya is still the prettyist deadly elf I've ever seen :wub:^_^
