Why is he so miffed? And why do screenies taken in Redcliffe, tend to have the black fading around the edges..?
Edit:  Nevermind, they all have that, it's just more noticeable in Redcliffe.

Just read that partial summary and just about fell out of my chair laughing when I read this bit

P: Do you have to use a four-member party?

DG: You can use the naked crazy guy option

Lol, wonder how long it will take once DA2 is released for the forum's to be overrun with the Varric version of NBA or Nate if he's a playable character.

I'm not sure actually... it *might* have been the conversation where he talks about the Chantry using lyrium to control the Templars.

I know I'll be on top of that as soon as I get the game (and track down a suitable helm).

What? Nate is part of DA2? Before or after Awakening?

Probably before. We know he spent a year in Kirkwall pre-Awakening, after all.

*sigh*  Good. I'd hate to see my personal DAO canon rendered AU. ^_^ I'm working hard to make it compatible with DA2.

So he actually knew about the NBA here? Gaider is a sneaky ninja, isn't he?

Good afternoon. I've still been trying to get through Awakening with my lone male warden who was in a romance with Morrigan, but it's been such slow going. Ugh, awakening makes it like work, rather than fun. So, I thought I'd get an Alistair break, and repost my favourite ninja.

One fun thing was respec'ing my warden into a spirit warrior archer, and he booms those arrows for one-shot kills, it's pretty funny, but not funny enough to make awakening fun  :(

Thanks for that link!

Hmm ...

P: Will we ever find out what happens with Fiona or Maric?

DG
: Yes.

Gaider basks in the Alistair love and hate. He eats your tears and cackles like an old witch.

I always start out looking forward to playing Awakening because I like Anders and Nate so much.  I even like Justice.  But I've only made it through the whole thing once.

That is actually great. I want to know more about Fiona. Also I squealed (!!) for the first time over DA2 as I read that Dalish elves are having a prominent role in it. Addai knew it all along that he (Gaider) is cooking up something with them because the elves ruin in the Dalish origin are ominous with those elves and Tevinter (human) artefact's. I think too that they have something to do with creating the darkspawn perhaps? Oh how the mighty have crumbled. And I like also the fact that our Wardens will return in future games...most likely.

You're not the only person. I've done one 1 playthrough and never felt tempted to do any more. The Awakening wasn't fun and i found the story narrative average.

Likewise. I like most of the Awakening characters, but somehow I feel the story rushes by without giving me the chance to enjoy it. Everything happens way too fast for my taste.

You know, looking at my profile picture ... this little blonde, sheltered and spoiled-rotten DN was meant for a Zevran romance.  But she looks about 15 years old.  That's just wrong!  She probably looks too young for Alistair too.

I've been playing a little Witcher.  Love the graphics.  Not so sure about the voiced character, but hopefully it will get better.  I'm still in the prologue, and so far I have had very little control over this character and haven't had any choice in what he says.  All I do is aim him when he's fighting.  I'm sure we'll have control of Hawke's dialog.

That was exactly my reaction.  I just finished Chapter 1.  Geralt doesn't ever talk much, that I can see.  You get to direct his major story actions and his combat.

Eh. If giant boobs are standard issue, looks like I'm be playing M.Hawke. But from what I've seen of the screens, it's Bethany with the huge rack - hard to tell if LadyHawke's chest is as formidable.

They probably have a standardised model for human females like they did in Origins, which regrettably means that Lady Hawke will in all likelihood be as overly endowed as her little sis. It will probably vary with armour, though. I have to admit, its making me reconsider my initial plan of running a mage. Plate mail will likely look a bit better.

They've shown screens of femHawke now and she has the big rack, too.  Looks like a standard model.

At seeing how cartoonish a direction they're taking the so-called "artistic vision," I'm more nervous than ever to see the new Dalish.  I expect clown-eared freaks.  And now I expect clown-eared freaks with big boobs.

I also have mixed feelings about finding out about Maric and Fiona.  It's good, but.... I'm nervous about that, too.  We've been left hanging for too long, with too much fanon settled in my mind.

I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'm fine with the boobs. *ducks*

edit: could be the fact that I'm used to big boobs as a female gamer, idk.
