Yea, I thought Bhelen was more charming than Harrowmont. By charm, I mean he oozes with intelligence and cunning, and doesn't sound dull.

Plus, he utters one of my favorite lines in the game.
"If she wishes to remain in the deep roads, then we must assist her...by any means necessary".

I LOVE THAT LINE. I can't help but have an evil grin on my face when he says that.
One thing I really loved about Orzammar was how Zev totally pwned Harrowmont's second. It's the kind of *IN YOUR FACE* moments that I wish Alistair had.

Too bad we can't renegade Prince charming:devil: 'Cause "hardening him" (damn that expression will always make my mind go to the gutter) doesn't do anything, IMO.

Edit : Oh noes, TOP! Here's one for KoP and Glor, with Love <3

As for the DA2 thingie, I don't want to go there anymore. I have said anything I had to say to it and that's it. I'll play it for it's story and wait if it can nearly capture me as much as DA:O has done it. Forgive me for being doubtful of that, however. *rolls eyes* And squee all the way you want...maybe for me too, because personally I can't work up the excitement for it.

For me it is just another game. *shrug*

I once again will state that you are welcome to your opinion and I respect it. I just kinda wish...that would stay out of this thread, is all. You are welcome to your opinion as much as I am. But this is the Alistair thread, and our thoughts about DA2 shouldn't matter. Idk, I think you are missing my point. I'm not mad that you hate it.

Aww, it feels like the old thread again. Meri approves.

Also what you have said Skadi. I'm not the most social person either, because most people are stupid and I love my alone time where no one is DEMANDING things from me. I have that in my job already, so gimme a fffff break D:

I would love you forever, really. Honestly if I had the ability to draw beyond stick figures, I'd already have drawn many, many pictures for my FF myself, but sadly I'm just a little writer here, unable to bring the pictures to (e)paper with a pencil, but (only) with words. And yes a new chapter is on the way, or better in the hands of my beta. I try to keep a weekly publishing schedule now and are positive it will work out, since awesome beta is awesome and I'm a few chapter ahead from the actual posted chap. Right now I write a very, VERY emotional chap which is quite draining, so progress is slow.

Haha, well, some people are picky about how things are depicted and all, so I thought it safer to ask. Wellllll, it's not as if my art is super great, but, I try. Haha. I do about equal parts drawing and writing, myself...but I haven't written any DA fanfiction yet. I think I'll get around to it...sometime. It really depends on how my fanfic for my other fandom (which looks like it'll be more and more massive every time I turn around -- though, I get the feeling, not nearly as long as yours will be) goes...
Weekly -- nice! That's usually my goal (with my current FF), but since my computer died I kind of lost my steam for some reason. I need to get going on that thing again.

When I was in Calgary I stayed at my grandparents house while working.

They kept saying: GO out and make some friends!
After I had worked EIGHT hours outside in the sun, and doing grounds keeping.

A nice chair and some AC, plus this forum kept me sane last summer.

Think of it as a mental excercize.

That's what I do, because for some reason, everyone around me thinks I am not only interested in their problems, but also suitable enough to give advice. But I play along.

It's a learning experience.

I'm more interested in the sort of "learning experience" I can offer them. One that preferably, involves pain and and the loss of large quantities of blood, and frantic, but futile, pleas for mercy.

Yes, Skadi - it should be in the aesthetics pack.

It's been released then? Do you have a link?

Yeah, I hate when people do that. They act as if it is a sin NOT to want to be around people all the time. Like, they think something's wrong with you. My husband is like that. He's highly social and well liked, but doesn't seem to get the fact that not only am I his opposite in that regard, I actually LIKE being this way, and have no desire to make friends or influence people.

@rak: Thanks for the link!

Yp, you would definitely fit with Chaos.

I am still trying to figure out which of the 4 Chaos Gods would you be affiliated to.
Khorne?
Or Slaanesh?

Or Chaos undivided?

If I was Chaos, I'd be Tzeentch.

EDIT: come ot think of it, you'd fit with Nurgle even, with your love for radiation and nuclear wastelands.

No it was directed at the *other* comment. I found yours much more sensible, really. I *know* that it isn't really on topic if I talk about DA2 *here* but a girl needs a place to vent at times...And before I rain on your parade in one of the DA2 - threads and interrupt the volume of  your (rightful) squeeing going on there, I rather do it here. Feel free to ignore my ramblings however, I come down myself again anyway.

Also it was not that was happening much here anyway, so yeah maybe that is because I seized the opportunity to talk about *it*. *shrug*

To stay on topic: I truly hope that Warden Alistair gets acknowledged for once, really. That ending gets always the short side of the stick and it is ANNOYING. (DA:A anyone?)
Are there any screens of Alistair's new look out yet? *bites her tongue here to refrain a snarky remark* :P

I dunno, cuz I stay away from the spoiler thread for the later case of me gaming DA2, actually.

I'm like you, Skadi, my sister is like your husband.  I remeber this one time, I was snuggled up in my bed ready to play the Sims - it was a Saturday.  She dragged me out of bed and made me go with her to her friends house to hang out.  While we're there, all I'm thinking is that I would rather be playing Sims.  Then her friend starts having chest pains, we call the paramedics, we're in the emergency room til 3:00am. The doctors didn't find anything wrong with him and all I'm thinking is  - I'm never going anywhere with her again.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only who would rather play video games on a saturday night instead of going to a social event with... people.

I think I would be Chaos undivided, since my moods, motives, and methods shift so much. Even I never know what manifestation of evil I shall endorse for the day until I've rolled out of bed.

Slaanesh and Tzeentch look like the two sort of deities my current HN rogue would really dig.

I asked Gaider on a thread once about it and he said:
Morrigan and Alistair can do whatever they want... over there... where I cant see it.

Scratch video games and insert writing FF and I'm all in. (Although gaming is also a nice thing to do, really.) And on that note, I already fear summer where my people want to go out because the weather is so fitting and all that crap. Yep, I'm an oddball who likes her little cave (read apartment), when not working XD

All I need is some music, some games, and some food and I am good.

Listening to Bullet with Butterfly wings by the Smashing Pumpkins and playing a good game makes me day.

I prefer listening to Metallica in shooters.

Beethoven in an RTS.

Ensiferum in many other games.
Or just Crosscut/Amon Amarth.

Hear!! Hear!! Music tastes are different  but the basic idea is the same.

edit - ok I can confess. Beethoven was mentioned. I go for opera. La Traviata rocks while slaying darkspawn. Will play Madame Butterfly if I ever do the US.
