DA2 gushers & skeptics have the same amount of information about the game.  The skeptics have the same right to voice their concerns as the gushers have to gush.  I do not understand why this is such an us against them mentality.  The people who like the game have something to look foward to - good on them.  The people who are dissapointed have a right to say so.  Bioware can take the information from both sides and possibly adjust their approach in future installments.  The Alistair thread may not be the place for this debate (unless they screw over Alistair in DA2)  but there is no need for such vitriol at people who do not share the same ammount of enthusiasm for a game.
As far as the thread "dying" because we are an embarassment here.  I would rather have a quieter thread then 10 pages of having to defend why Alistair doesn't suck.  It's nice to be able to compilment him without someone swooping in 30 seconds later saying he is a whiney looser.

Dragon Age: Origins will live on in fan fiction, mods. etc..............

As for how to approach Dragon Age 2....Consider it an alternate universe. After a couple of playthroughs and if I decide I don't like it...it will become an alternate universe for me. 

It just won't exist in the Origins universe.

Thats how I plan to approach the new game.

I think boobies have very good theraputic value for Alistair. He has many childhood trauma issues, many of which can be soothed if he has a nice pair of boobies to snuggle up to.

I agree with this post, however I was only stating that the anti DA2 talk is in the wrong thread...not getting on your back about not liking it. 

Saying please take the DA2 critisizm to the proper place doesn't = I hate you because you dislike DA2...

Thanks, Rak! I'm really glad that you're enjoying it--and the pictures! Those pictures turned out to be WAY more time consuming than I initially anticipated, probably adding a month or two to the time the story took. Of course, after I did them, I decided that about 3/4's of them weren't good enough and did them again.

I will take my cynicism and wander off to the boys of the Morri-thread with it. It's a sanctum for us "naysayer" lol.

But seriously I would love if the game convinces me to actually LOVE it. I blame my skeptic mostly on that horrible "faster, harder, better" marketing BW has going on and which I couldn't stand from the get go. Plus elves, yeah. Not going there. As for the drama, well that is solved for me with that person being removed from my friends list.
