That's good to know, Skadi. I haven't tried to change the tints yet, as I've been lucky to have hair and skin colors that go with the packaged tints. Having said that, I really like what you did.

I don't mind an older Alistair either but personally, to me it looks like as if Alistair has been spending his spare time on a Botox farm. Much. There is no life in his face, no expression just the dull, blank face with a still awesome voice in that clip. The thing is SV's voice and THAT face doesn't work/fit together (for me) at all anymore.

I'd chalk up quite a bit of that effect --in that particular scene at least-- to the lighting (or lack thereof)  It looks like he's standing in area devoid of any light sources, with the only light being quite far behind his back. That kills any possible shadows/highlights and makes shapes appear way more flat than what can be seen in better lit scenes.

@ Zjarcal - LOL! Anders was the only thing I liked about Awakening. I'm hoping when I get my game he will also make up for the loss of Ali and Zev.

That cameo is more of what I had in mind when thinking about "Drunki-stair." This "all will be well- scene with the man prior known as Teagan (doesn't look like him) was totally unrealistic...and WTF to me.

Not that I don't wish him to be redeemed, far from it, but this scene looked kinda forced, just to please the fans. A lá look Alistair will be fine...now play on, will ya?

I guess I'm glad that due to the decisions in both my cameos, Alistair will not be making a cameo apperance in DA2. Since in my lesser canon, he never becomes king and remains a Warden, and my greater canon, he sacrifices himself on the Archdemon.

I shall simply have to be content that in both scenarios, his sexiness remains inviolate.

I disapprove of taking away his snarky humor and making him yet to another tragic figure. His appeal, so far there was ever one, was his humor and his carefree nature for me, so yeah. Not a good selling point for me. Might rather jump on the mage-hating train with Fenris the fist time around. His appeal to me is...well he was written by Gaider. Lol.

Nothing ever will reach the pixel-sexiness of him, though.

Oh, I think Anders is as shaggable and appealing as he was in Awakening, and from the you tube clips, I like him hands down better than Fenris. While personalitywise Fenris is certainly different from Zevran, there's too much in the general sense that makes him seem like a Zevran clone: another poor wittle elf enslaved and abused by "evil humans" who use him as a killing machine for their own nefarious ends, who will not leave him alone. He even has fair hair, tattoos, a tan, and dual wields weapons like Zevran, and worked for criminal gangs, and is bisexual to boot. I think gaider could have come up with something more unique and interesting.

Which I find annoying, because I actually like Zevran and his attitude towards life, and he was also quite unique for an elf in his situation, as despite his horrific past and abuse by humans, he doesn't have a chip on his shoulder, and isn't driven by some overwhelming desire for revenge against his former abusers. He just wants to start again and live.

Anders situation, however, is quite unique. More than just a mage on a mission to liberate his fellows and rectify the brutality and cruelty of the Chantry, being possesed by a once benevolent spirit, only to have his own deep seated rage and hate of the Chantry corrupt the spirit and turn him into a very unusual and curious type of abomination, is certainly an unexpected twist on a character, and fascinates me far more.

Plus, I do not see myself siding with the templars for anything but one playthrough to satisfy morbid curiousity. In Origins, even though I played a wide range of characters who made a wide range of choices (including sparing Loghain and executing Alistair) the only character i could ever manage to play that had positive views of the Chantry, and even became a convert, was my dwarf commoner, who of course, didn't know any better. Even then, she felt the Chantry was excessively cruel and oppresive towards mages, and felt the templars probably needed to locked up away from mages as much as the mages needed to be locked up away from society.

I have to say, I really miss the old Anders. I loved him in Awakenings, so far he has just been a big downer in my game. I did meet Sebastian breifly, and WOW, he made me swoon. I know he's not everyones cup of tea, but for me, excuse me, I need to fo fan myself.

The Drunkistair shot is quite revolting, not because it shows Alistair as a worn out drunk, but because the DA2 facemorph he has is rather vile even in it's sober king version, is vile.

His Origins facemorph, if it was aged and weathered to reflect the effects of being a drunken wretch, would still be sexier than his "clean and sober" DA2 facemorph.

In fact, his DA2 facemorph borders on Cammen-hood. I disapprove.
