@Giggles - I really think it is. The Gaming Gods do not want me to ruin my love of Thedas with this game....

But the sad thing is, it was actually getting to the point where I *might* have considered it a good game, so long as I could pretend it wasn't Dragon Age. The Dialogue wheel wasnt as bad as I expected, Combat still makes me want to cry at how ridiculous it is and I've never spent 10 hours on a game constantly going to check the difficulty level to make sure it hadn't scaled back to Casual while I wasnt looking. Some of the characters are good and deep like I expect from Bioware, and some are inexplicably bland..... and from what I've seen of the over-arching plot, there seems to be a build up to this conflict that keeps getting sidetracked in favor of fetch quests....

I don't know what to think... and I won't for a long while until Iget the money to replacemy ruined copy.

Wow much has happening while I was away o__O Am I to blame again? I feel like this every time speaks ill about DA2, it is my fault. Dunno why xD Because I'm having not the sun shining out of my bum, when talking about it (and no, there is no pun intended). Then again, my way of cynicism is some sort of "prepare yourself for the worst...then get surprised in a good way...or not" I have going. So that I can't be wrong in the end xD

I'm actually enjoying the game, but I doubt I'll replay it over and over again like I did DA:O. It just doesn't have that draw.

TEEGAN!!! what did they do to you? I can sort of handle Alistair ( even though his jaw is way to square). My only other complaint is that my female Hawke looks like a teenage boy no matter what I do. I think it's the square jaw that I just can't get rid of. oh wait they all have that problem.

Reposting. just because. He looks so lovable in this pic.
I'm also fairly disgruntled with the looks of certain characters in this game. While I think important NPCs and my party members look nice, everyone else is bleh. No emotion in their faces at all. I will probably finish this game, and then go back to Origins. I like it well enough, but it's just not the same. Also, considering there is only one origin......I don't see the need for multiple playthroughs, or even a second one.....unless I'm just looking to play a diced character. I don't see why I would spend 30 hours just to be a **** though.

I'm going to play it twice just to be my usual mage sympathizer and then see if Icanwork up the self loathing to support the Chantry

Why? You can be the nice woman, the sarcastic woman and the ****y woman. That's three in one game. AWESOME.

But to lay aside my snarky comments for once. I'll play it to see story and characters and that's it about it. Anyway...Alistair...the chubby thing that ate him and sounded like him due to that has totally eaten my blooming excitement too. And I was excited for it, now I only hope that I don't meet Warden Alistair...because it would be better for him to remain MIA, as usual.

In my head he is happily traveling through Thedas with his F!Warden - harem at his side while occasionally slaying darkspawn anyway. Good life, that.

2) If he is King, he isn't running around all the time Wardening.

 My blood mage (the evil b*tch warden) executed Alistair last night.It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. Actually, I didn't feel a thing. And I'm finding Loghain kind of... Funny.

 Meh...I regret not killing him in Dragon Age Origins now when I had the opportunity. Cause Teagan does this in Dragon Age 2: Drunk Alistair Cameo ( part 2)

Would be all well and nice if I wasn't certain he wasn't going to try and use Alistair to seize the throne ( Eamon that is ).

@Elysis I found it REALLY hard to kill Loghain in my playthrough. After reading The Stolen Throne, I had developed a sort of fondness for him. After knowing everything he went through, I had some sympathy and honestly didn't blame him for going a bit batty. Hell, if I had risked my life multiple times to secure Ferelden, I wouldn't want some kid inviting my enemies over for tea! Blight or no.
