He really needs a new head morph, as does Teagan.

I met Drunk!Alistair in Act 1 and again in Act 2, so Teagan obviously brought him back to Ferelden.

Funny thing is, that's exactly what I pictured happening for him. (And he's totally not gonna seize anyone's throne, since Eamon is long dead and Teagan is the Arl of Redcliffe. And Teagan is no politician and making a mess of it.)

I just don't get it... how do some cameos come out looking alot better then the originals. (Leliana, Nathaniel, Cullen) While others are grotesquely stabbed in the face and barely look like themselves. I hope Bioware releases the toolset. Or perhaps a big update to the toolset we have already that allows for editing the new heads. I wonder though... what about female dwarves head morphs? DA2 had no female dwarves.

One thing I can say though...is that I'm over the moon Morrigan didn't appear now.
Teagan makes me laugh more than Alistair now. They're both messed up...but Teagan is just wrong!

You should regret not killing him, just because otherwise he and Teagan become deformed.

Even so, the trend of the bannorn rallying around Redcliff is probably going to accelerate because of it and it's precisely because Teagan doesn't know anything about politics, that him having a weapon like that can lead to disaster. Or complete epic fail, which is also possible.

But still, the risk is there. Even if he doesn't want it, many in the bannorn probably will.

What an adorable dialogue!!<3<3<3 Previous wardens have never been able to restrain themselves and hauled him in as soon as they could. My Queen to be actually waited to be asked.

Aye, I love it too . Especially his "first and the last" declaration, aww. That being said, I really need to game on at times, there is so much I haven't seen yet due to AWESOME Mod's that still needs to be used by me. Oh well, I rather write on my FF these days, it seems.

BTW: New chapter is out. Something to read between DA2, lol.

I feel your pain, Mione, really. DA2 Alistair is really some lazy ass- programming. And a graphic thing. Which is why I named him Nintendo man...only original with 12 pixels...in total. Heh.

I didn't see anything particularly wrong with Alistair and Teagan during my "Meet King Alistair" Quest. Its not like I had to guess who they were... but damn I missed having Alistair around. Meeting him... "Hello, I'm Alistair... err.. King Alistair" was AWESOME! My Snarky Warrior Hawke with Sarcastic Alistair... now thats a team up I wish coulda gone down.

Yay! Thanks for linking that. That was the only end game save I didn't have and I was wooooondering! I remember seeing a default GW in that role and thinking hey, that would have been a good time for Alistair to appear as a GW. Turns out I wasn't too far off the mark! =D

You don't think that by the time DA3 starts, Alistair may very well be dead because the game jumped forward in time? Dragon Age is about an era, not the characters, so I highly doubt they're going to go out of their way to have Alistair ursurp the throne in a sneaky way. OMG TEAGAN CAME AND GOT ALISTAIR OMG. What about Grey Warden Alistair? He's off doing his duties. Paranoid he'll come back for the throne as well? The only possible role I can see Alistair have for DA3 is being the father of Morrigan's baby. Nobody cares about the Ferelden throne. Nobody cared about the dwarven throne in DA2.

JUST an FYI here (because I'm an instigator). DA2 has import issues! As in, the romance active flags are not importing properly (though if you're a Queen CousCous, the fact you married Alistair imports, but the romance state does not).

Are you certain that this is an actual bug/incorrect importation issue, and not DA2 pretty much just canonically ignoring romance states from Origins and Awakening, or simply deciding that regardless of romance, the LI's from DAO are going be a certain way, whether we like it or not?

Yes.  The problem has been confirmed via the console.  The romance flags, while they're supposed to be imported, are incorrectly reporting that they are not active in DA2.  So say you romanced Zevran, it will state in the debug app of DA2 that Zevran was not romanced though it does correctly report if the warden and Zevran had made love.

This seems to affect all of the romance partners.
