Give my character a hood to hide the face, as long as he's either wearing Tevinter/Chasind Robes or in the later chapters is in the warden Commander armor and is holding a sword in one hand and the staff in the other, we're golden

Staff and sword is problematic, as is the warden commander armor, but we can talk about that then you've finished your story.

That's Jensen Ackles, whom you really should have been watching in Supernatural all these years.   (Go watch, but start at the beginning, not current!) I agree that he has a good look for Alistair. Sadly, he's very American, so the voice wouldn't work at all.

No, it couldn't at all. He did a perfect job. But if they were ever to make a live action version of the story, they'd probably want to go with an actor of similar appearance to the in-game Alistair. That's basically how actors come up in conversation. Not that I think they'll do that. If they ever decided to do, say, a DA tv show, it would probably be a while new plot.

You do now - on your warden. It's there, you just can't see it. No matter how catty you get with a science professor, you could never get as petty as he/she is. No one is.

Heh, I didn't mean the offer to make a picture with your character. I'll do that whenever you're ready, no hurry. I meant my offer to make a general toolset picture on a requested theme--including Alistair, of course--that I made earlier this afternoon.

And...it's now 5pm. Sorry, latecomers, not I have to go do some work. The picture offer is now closed. Don't let that stop you from posting ideas of what you'd like to see, though. I can always get to them later.

Today was a very good day DA2- wise...got to meet Warden Alistair (I know it still doesn't look like him...but this mod makes him so much better to look at) who referred to Lenya by calling her "the love of his life" and adding to that I eventually got the Fenris romance to roll after all (after some starting problems with him/it). <3

Damn you Gaider *shakes fist*...you did it again. As weird looking he might be with this elf redesign and anime look, Fenris is a damn interesting character for me.

Yup, Meri is pleased with the game atm...and this says something. Lol. I expect that to end at the WTF ending though. I'm in act 3 now...so hold your breath

Oh and here is finally a chapter update. Found a workaround to the server-error (thanks and credits for that to Dre )

Also during Alistair's cameo there was the same theme in the background to hear, that plays when you first meet him in Ostagar. It was really a nice touch....and I halted for a few seconds to simply listen to it. Aww.

Hawke: "You don't seem like the typical Grey Warden. Is your order not all serious and so?"
Alistair *shrugs*: "I get that a lot. "

LOL, I only saw King Alistair, so I didn't hear that.

Regarding the music, I don't know what was playing when I met him, I was too busy being all 'omg, something fun, yay!' I sis notice when I hit the mucic on the coast that's from Lake Calenhad. I really love all the DA:O music.

So what did Warden Alistair have to say that might be meaningful lore-wise?
