I know my flag imported correctly, at least in part, because Bodhan refers to the warden queen, and I got that line, too. It's probably not a reused line from if Anora is queen, because in that situation, he apparently doesn't refer to her at all--and he goes on to say he's not afraid of her (the warden) and have a joking exchange about her killing the archdemon,so...not a bug. He's just being funny. I also think that he'd really enjoy the fact that he doesn't have to worry that something will separate them and he can feel free to joke about it--makes the epilogue sad!
Seems in character to me. Alistair likes to tease, and there were no flags about a political marriage to the warden, so it works for those, too. They have to take that into account.

It wouldn't convey that it was a duel, not just a fight over something unknown, and people wouldn't be likely to read that into it themselves, given that both characters step back if the warden shows interest elsewhere, so...no, I don't think that would be possible.Mariefoxprice83 wrote...
A really cool pic would be Alistair and Zevran fighting a duel over a female Warden. No idea if that's possible though.

He was kidding. Alistair does thatHe probably says it right to her face to get a reaction and laughs like crazy when he gets one.

"Ball and chain" is a pretty British expression, another name for the same thing is "trouble and strife" (rhyming slang for "the wife"); Basically the British are pretty emotionally repressed and have difficulty acknowledging publically that they are deeply in love with their spouse so they resort to these kinds of terms to downplay their romantic involvement...

That does make sense, but still... meh. No quest, no gushy lines about my Warden and to top it off he looks like an aborted fetus!! This cameo couldn't be any more disappointing.

Cullen doesn't actually look all that much like Cullen, though. They probably could have made Alistair more handsome without much work, but the shape of his face is difficult in that CC, and his mouth and eyes are impossible. I gave it a try, and possible shapes are quite a bit more limited. I'm not saying they gave it the effort they should have--they obviously didn't, but it's not easy by any means. Alistair was made to look unique in Origins and that really gets in the way here.rak72 wrote...
He did look terrible though. They were able to make Cullen so handsom. I know Alistair is the king, but they didn't need to turn him into Blond Elvis, 1977

Some flags import correctly and some definitely do not.
My chancellor gets NOTHING from Alistair's cameo. Zip, Zilch Nada. And I know i chose that as her boon.
GW imports, have Alitair talking about the warden as if she is dead (there are other lines in the talk tables apparently)
Too many to make me feel confident the ball and chain comment isn't one.

Well, DA2 had more problems--and far larger ones--than the Alistair cameo, so there was a lot of that going around. At least we got more wonderful characterization from Steve Valentine. I lol'd when Alistair talked about being emasculated by Meredith. Heh. And the dialogue with Aveline about Ostagar was great.
But see they ARE part of a big problem. You play through Origins, Awakening, WH with characters you've invested alot of thought and time and effort in. You've gotten just the right endings you want for each, to be imported into the next chapter. So say DA3 comes out next year. The import bugs for DA2 remain unfixed. Your imported warden now has had things stripped out. ie: LI not recognizing there was a romance. (Zevran is the worst example of this right now...HORRIBLY bad). You handwave it and continue on only to find that very flag is important in DA3. Like the flags for Morrigan, many have the "made love" flag set, but not the romance. And same with Leliana.
They may seem unimportant now, but if something this minor can be this badly flawed what about the bigger decisions? like the Architect? I killed him, yet the import says he lived. Amaranthine...many saved it, yet imports said it burned.
Since Alistair is king and has done the DR (which surely will be important at some point) in most of my saves I'm very hesitant to play any of those imports until things with the imports are fixed. I definitely did not enjoy his cameo with my chancellor. The relationship being completely ignored took the fun right out of it.<_<

Did your character romance him Lady Jess?
