Yep she certainly absolutely did. All but two of my wardens did.

Can't say I enjoyed the game, but I did enjoy the cameo. But then, I would have enjoyed seeing Alistair again even had there been no mention of my warden at all.

Yes. Warden Alistair is awesome (and badass like that) Really from all the cameos of him that was the most squee-able for me. Not only did he fought at Hawke's side for a precious moment, I also got the "love of my life" line. Perfect.

Okay, really perfect would it have been with his old look but the face-mod was okay and much better than the abhorrent fffff-face Bioware gave him.

Though he was joking about the ball and chain thing, he is sarcastic like that. Also the romance flag aren't imported at all, so I used a (mod) patch to fix that...though it was still somewhat broken because while I got the "love of my life" line on screen I heard both lines (friend and romanced) at the same time and doubled as VO.

Perhaps I'm alone in this, but for me, sarcastic m!Hawke was akin to Alistair. DA2 made me very nostalgic for DA:O. I missed my silly ex-templar and my Warden.

You're not alone! I missed having Alistair in my party and the lighthearted moments he provided. Everything felt very dramatic and lonely

I feel silly for holding off to play origin again until I'm finished with DA2 (and I'm dragging on with that) but it will make the "coming home" all the sweeter for me. I will probably squee like an inane fangirl when I see Lenya and Alistair for the first time after weeks again in-game.

And right on with the dramatic and lonely part. I truly missed the snarky comments of an Alistair, Zevran, Shale or Morrigan during the doom and gloom that DA2 is. It was only bearable for me due to the sarcastic Hawke I play and Fenris and Varrik so far. I admit that I do love the Fenris romance, it's where Gaider shines again with pulling the right strings. Aww.

A pity that they have ruined Anders like they did and with him the opportunity of epic snark battles with my Hawke. Sigh.

Thought about it but from what I understand it just exchanges one problem for another (double VO's, dead warden instead of live one). I never romanced Leliana either, and it was mainly for her. And I'm pretty far into Act I on this do-over, and I don't want to start over yet again.  I'm just going to finish, and quit til it's fixed. I have another month of classes, hubby leaving for school next week, and a move cross country in a few months, gives them plenty of time to fix it.

The mod does not fix Zevran nor Alistair.  While it fixes the import flag, they have issues beyond the scope of the mod.

Edit: Truthfully, Zevran's cameo with the mod is actually worse than without it.  He's still bugged in that he will respond to Hawke's flirting (he's not supposed to) but worse, you get his first mourning line (even with a live warden) AND if Isabela is in the party, you get his heartbreaking response to her as well (how his loss is still a little too fresh -- ugh, 7 years after the blight).

Such a shame what they did to Anders. Waaaay too much whining for my taste. Which only made Fenris look even more awesome in comparison

Can someone who did warden Alistair have a look at his DA2 codex and let us know what it says? The king codex was quite interesting, and I'm wondering if the warden one has more info about Ferelden or the wardens. Or possibly another mention of Orlais in some context.
