More shameless self-plugging. I'm just going to leave this here, then. Sadly, ff.net is being a pest and every time I try to access my stories page it just transports me to an ad I can't get out of.

I put the filter on this one because there's some pretty strong language in a couple parts but there's nothing overtly violent or sexual.

Some angsty Alistair/bloodmage!Amell stuff.

Eva Amell is the only character I actually finished Origins as and I figured I owe her a fic. If it was possible to have a rivalmance in Origins, then those two would have had one.

So long as it's a woman, I doubt Oghren would mind. Besides, I've been on the DA2 forums. I know how many people want a Dwarf romance.

Did you mean Varric? Well, he's a good candidate in DA2. In DA:O, if that's a chance to romance Dagna, she's quite cute, as far as I saw. And so Alistair will be past, poor him, but I really want to change the atmosphere of romance.

Hello, people -- I'm so glad there's a thread to come back to! The k!meme and DA2 ate my brain for a while, but DA2 was boring (haven't even felt motivated enough to do a second PT and romance Fenris) and the k!meme is almost all DA2 now, so meh.

For topic-ness: (1) Does anyone have any easily accessible/browsable Alistair galleries, something like TigressM's photostream on Flickr? (2) Has anyone been crazy enough to scrape the two gush threads and save all the (non-cracky, at least) pics?

@errant Thanks for posting that commission you won -- *rightclicksave*   Also, I was wondering if you'd ever considered doing a video or live tutorial on using the toolset to make your own pics. I've checked out a few tutorials but the learning curve is so steep that a very focused one would seem a lot more useful (e.g., I don't really care about learning to animate anything). If you've already done one and everybody knows about it but me, just forget I said anything…

Aside from Tigress, I don't know if anyone else has a browsable album anywhere. I have most of my toolset pics in an album on my profile and Skadi has a nice collection of the "cracky" Alistairs in an album on hers.

@Mick-a lot of people seem to feel the need to punish him for not kissing the Warden's ass sufficiently, or having a line that he won't cross, even for love. Some people don't like a heroic guy telling them they're wrong. 'Kiss my ass, damnit!' Me, I think the fact the he has his own beliefs that he stands up for is part of the awesomeness.

@Alisgirl-I'd never considered that, but I've had a lot of people asking for some instruction lately, so that might be a good way to do it, rather than repeat the whole thing in several internet locations. I shall ponder that.
