Just for the record, I've alyways made it clear that I don't hate Alistair. And I only came in to post because Bethany was mentioned and she's like my third favorite character in DA2 so....

Nope, just the same hair style/color. I do wish there were more that kept the hair off the face. I did do a doubletake when I saw that, though

I'm really going to have to do another male Cousland playthrough. My first was, but he looked like such a doofus, I deleted it. The character creator has a learning curve. I do have a male dwarf commoner started, though. I need to get through the origin before I get to a bit in part 2 of my story that requires first hand knowledge of commoners.

Took me a few tries to get River right. I'm still not 100% happy with his appearance but he's good enough. I made his cheeks a little bit full in order to make it so they didn't look sallow. Now they kind of puff out when he opens his mouth. (See above.)

He's not so bad when he keeps his mouth closed though.
