Now that I look at it, there's a female elf in The Witcher 2 in Act 3 that if you pay 200 orens to, she'd grow a beard exactly like this one. Friendly poke at Dragon Age?

There are quite a few pokes at DA in TW, I think.  I went down an alley in Floatsom one day and found a mute character called Teagan, went down it the next, found a character called Drizzet... OK so that's BG but anyways...

These ambient character names are randomly assigned to characters without any important lines, though. I've ran into Drizzt in the tavern too, but then when i saved the game and reloaded it, the very same character was named different. Most of the others are like that, too.

Gaider in other forums has pretty much said they won't be going back to DAO style ever again.  Don't know how much of that to take or what, but that's what I've read. 

Yeah, which is why I'm not holding my breath or hoping for much.

I know we can't have petetitions on here or anything, but is there ANY way to get them to realize that DA2 Alistair's look made a lot of us really, genuinely disappointed?  I wonder who decided his DA2 character model was in any acceptable. I adore not only his personality in Origins, but he looks pretty good for a pixellated creation too! And with characters like Cullen, you know they can make some attractive males using the upgraded engine. I guess it would be weird to change him from game after game after game, so I don't have my hopes up either.
