I think most of them are still catatonic from that Alistair picture. Give them a while longer to wake up.Jon Jern wrote...

@JonJern--Not dead! But I feel a little dead. This having two jobs.... I haven't had a day off in 2 weeks. *sigh* Had to insist in taking one this week.
Hi! How's that story of yours coming?

And something different, I have replayed Leliana's song once more for FF-reasons and I'm kind of baffled why Bioware hasn't gone more into that direction with DA2...because the voice over really works for me there. Also the dialog-system and VO, while paraphrasing as well, feels so much more natural than the awkward wheel. Le sigh.

I think I broke her mind.
As for the Anora/Alistair pairing, I like to amuse myself by thinking that Alistair doesn't mind at all marrying Loghain's daughter if he's alive and he's hardened because in some messed up part of his head, his arch-enemy knows that one of the men he spent a year trying to kill would be sleeping with his daughter.

Heh. That too.
(Imagine the banter Alistair and Loghain would have: "You'd best not hurt my daughter, boy!"/"Are you kidding? She'd better not hurt me!" Ah...in the magical world where they could both be in your party. Or maybe less than magical, since Alistair would probably refuse to speak with Loghain, but, you know.)
I've no doubt their marriage would start out with a political "I'm only here because I'm doing what I must" sort of attitude, but I think they'd learn to get along. (The "cute" part is just me indulging in a bit of whimsy. Haha.)

Believe me, they know. David Gaider made a bitter post not too long ago about how [female designer] had tried so hard to get Alistair's face right in the new engine and if they'd only known how much people would hate her efforts, she probably shouldn't have tried so hard.
Edit: Found it.

Thanks for the information and link! I wonder if she was the best/most experienced designer on the team. Alistair was such a high profile character I can't imagine them allowing someone with mediocre talent work on him. But again, I look at a character like Cullen who looks SO similiar (and even better) than the Cullen in DA:O. It makes me wonder why the new engine worked for some characters but not others. Regardless, I feel bad that Alistair's new look makes me want to

Which is perfectly wrong attitude to take, incidentally. Using this logic and how DA2 writing was received we could be looking forward to Mr.Gaider "not trying so hard" with DA3. And that approach will clearly fly so much better...TS2Aggie wrote...
