If you mean if there is any dialogue related to the romance in DAO, no there isn't. He does have other dialogue, claiming to be the prince of Ferelden, which prompts some reactions from Isabela and Anders. That is in act 1. In act 2, you can start a conversation with him but Teagan will show up to take him back to Ferelden.

Also, if you click on him after doing his conversation in act 1 will spout random stuff about the "stupid grey wardens and their stupid taint", comments about how Loghain should've been hanged, and a line about feeling sorry for failing Duncan.

Oh ok.  That clears that up for me then.

Its really sad, but in my last play through I saved where Alistair comes in with Bethany and the other wardens. I wanted to be like, 'waaah, I wanna be a grey warden too, take me away from here, I hate Kirkwall more than the Arishok, waah' haha. Just admitting a little of my shame I guess.

This. One of the main reasons I didn't buy Awakening or DA:2 & lack of DA:O storyline continuation.

I hope he is too. Wynne's son sounds an interesting choice though. It'll be good to have a mage protagonist.

I wish that would have been Wynne's sidequest.  If anyone could find out  what happened to him, the warden could.

Personally, I love the HN origin. It's really integrated with the plot as a whole, and I really found a lot of roleplay value in the family connection.

@Cypher...you should definitely try the HN origin. If you're on the PC, I am going to assume you already have IRS and RatT but make sure you add the Royal Wedding for the HN Origin!

I am also a big fan of the elf mage origin..I don't really like the origin story, but I have a big soft spot for the elf mage/templar running off together. Especially since she was my first girl and was replayed many times because back then I knew nothing, so I had a few unhappy surprises.  I tend to prefer to replay my wardens over rather than create new ones with a new rp, so it was a little hard for me when swtiching to HN, but I ended up loving it. I usually do DW rogue, it fits my rp best. Fergus is the heir and the warrior but the Couslands made sure their daughter knew had to be subtle, use her wit and cunning and kick some **** when needed.

Eh...I've never been too worried about the heir thing. Anora never remarries, Male warden/Anora and Alistair/Anora (maker forbid!  ) aren't going to have an easy time of it either, so most likely there will be no heir no matter who you put on the throne, so it may as well be my girl.

Ferelden after all has an elective monarchichal system and I don't think any of the wardens or Alistair being noble but not royal, illegitimate, of humble origin and some not even human would have a problem with that. It is, after all, a form or meritocracy... May the best man, woman, dwarf or elf win and succeed them!

Err yeah, I have, as everyone knows here, sold my soul to the Dalish and Lenya who is my awesome canon Warden deluxe (and I'm proud of this). Best proof of how much I adore my odd Dalish cookie is my 310k words story about her journey, which is still far from being finished. Cough.

As for HN...I played it first and found it... okay. Then again, I'm not terrible fond of playing humans in the first place. Having an Dalish elf as Canon made that somehow ...weird, idk.

I dunno...I feel the city elf is the best for Alistair.. plus the only origin where you don't lose your family... you have Shianni, Soris, and Cyrogen your dad

Dwarf Commoner origin has family that stays alive. So does Dwarf Noble, but depending on what happened in how you played the origin, you may or may not be happy about surviving family members.

For my favorite, it's a toss up between Human Noble and Dalish Elf origins. Now that I've got a PC that can properly play DAO, I get to replay it all with mods and better graphics. (Why, yes, I will skip the Fade, thank you very much.)

...there are SO MANY mods, though. O_O

I was a XBox gamer for about a year here and it was at the time where all the awesome mods came out and I could do nothing but to watch the others in this very thread fanning over it. Which was part of the reason I spent a couple of hundreds bucks to get a somewhat decent PC in the end. Mine was 5 years old, as well, so it was needed. ( I keep telling me that, lol) It is indeed a difference like sh*t WOOOAW between what you get on console and then on PC...and with that I don't even mean the mods. O__O

Mack, you have a new PC now? Ohhh shiny. If you have questions to the mods, ask me. I have well....a ****load of them. You might want to look into tmp's genius mods first, as well as Cmezz's Alistair mod. ^^
