I think it was the sense of humor.. I kept walking around areas thinking "wonder what Alistair would say here" and then Anders would pipe up with a comment, all I could think was 'no, Alistair would be more clever than that, shut up Anders'

I really missed having Alibear around during Awakenings. Having Anders around was cool, but now they ruined that for me too. Next time I play, I'm just going to have Nate in my party & that's it.

Gah! I finally dealt with Goldana and got to Alistair tent time... and my Warden wore her armor through the entire thing! They got stuck in the initial kiss before going to the tent... maybe that's why? It was really odd looking. So disappointing!

@java_jive_girl - that's exactly what I did this morning before coming to work -- went back a save and replayed it. The kiss was still messed up in the beginning, but no armor (and helmet!) in the tent this time. I wish I'd gotten a pic of Alistair resting his head on the pommel of her dagger during the afterglow. Pretty hilarious, but I wasn't fast enough.

I *think* the problem might have been that I'd accidentally left the party on Hold when I took them back to camp? Not sure, but it's the only thing I can think of.

Hi @RagingCyclone! Definitely a new face here, I've only been playing the game for a couple of weeks. Other than Dismemberment Tuesdays, what *are* the theme days? Happy to help keep them alive...

I just started playing Dragon Age. I am not sure how far in I am in gameplay terms. I have romanced Allistair for obvious reasons. I'm really, really trying to stay away from spoilers, FOR REAL, you guys. But I'm just dying to know if Allistair dumps me when he gets voted new king (That if I assume he will be king, which I do). Or if maybe he dies or something. I just keep expecting a tragic ending to this romance. Part of me wants to be assured that of course my red-headed elf with remain with Allistair forever and have lots of bebbes, and part of me doesn't want to know what happens (especially if it's bad, but also if it's good) because I like to be surprised. I just wish I didn't have to be at work right now, so I could be playing Dragon Age and finding out the answers to these questions. Sigh.

So over on deviantart the Alistair fanclub is doing a Halloween contest. I'm trying to figure out what a funny costume would be for Alistair to wear. I know it's silly but my first thought was one of those two-people horse costumes with Ali up front of course and Oghren as the 'back end'. Then I was thinking maybe Alistair in a witch costume making fun of Morrigan. Let me know if you think of something that might be funny or cute... I need more ideas...

@Fata - yes, try to avoid spoilers, it will make it that much more dramatic and deep when you go through the ending!

Hi Rage! Glad to see some of the old-timers are still dropping by :-) I guess this was a very sad place for quite a while.

Everyone, just FYI, It's Alistair Porn Week over on Tumblr (tag is #alistair porn week, though the tag isn't working that great TBH).

@Fata: You can never get your first time back…avoid all the spoilers you can…you can always re-start it again from a past save! (From someone who ruined her first PT with them…)

Edit: Oh yeah, Aimo promised to draw some new Alistair/Aeducan for APW. :wub:

My first game, I started playing a dude warden, then I fell for Alibear. Switched to a Dudette & had everything spoiled & planned out my first full time through. Probably would have ended up much the same, though ... except I don't know if I would have made that one certain choice, hard to say.

I have an uncontrollable weakness for spanish accents, so I thought Zev would be my guy.  But Ail's charm beat  out the accent.

I didn't play a fem warden for a long time. Alistair has always been the brother in arms for most of my wardens. I do have one full run with a fem Cousland, and a second one started with the new computer. Maggie's saves got borked in the transfer from laptop to tower.
