Greetings All,

With the recent upgrade to my computer I have lost a beautiful drawing someone did, tr where it has Alistair paying reverence to the fallen at Ostagar. If anyone can direct me to it, I would be most happy.

This just happened, in the my real world:
Husband: (wanders over from his side of the office to get something out of the printer and glances at my monitor) What are you looking at?
tsm: Dragon Age screenshots.
H: That's you and that Ashlander! There's SEX in that game?
t: Not me. Nariel. She's an Elf and a mage, and she's dead...
H: Too much information, and none of it responsive. Since when is there SEX in that game?
t: Always. Well, not always. First I, I mean The Warden, has to take Alistair to see his sister in Denerim...
H: Again. Too much information, not enough response. And the Warden is you. Having SEX!
t: Making beautiful, soulful Warden love, you mean. And it's not me. I faint when I see blood, and I don't like spiders. And it's Alistair. 'Ashlander' was Julan; that was the other game, remember?
H: Was there sex in that one too?
t: Maybe...
H: Can you swivel your screen? So I don't have to look at that? Thanks.

My husband just gets back at me by playing his own game and executing Alistair.  I wish my warden and his warden would fight, cuz I'd kick his ass.

@megski Funny. That would be something to see! Mine's been stuck on his first PT for the last four months. He "didn't find it compelling"! So I'm on continuous spoiler watch and he'll probably never even finish it.

@rage I guess I was gone when you finished your first F!Cousland PT. What did you think? I find it amazing that you're willing to put up with all this fangirling. Is it any more understandable now? ;-)

@tsm He's just now finding out?! Wow, you're slick ;-) First I felt compelled to hide that I was romancing someone. After mod installation, I hid that there was graphic sex and nudity involved. Then I hid three months' worth of fic writing because I was too embarrassed for him to read it. I think it's all out in the open now. Except maybe that Jensen Ackles has become my head-canon non-pixel version of Alistair…and there might be some photos of him on my computer as a result…

N.B. I haven't seen Ackles in anything, so I don't care if his voice or personality don't match. Someone suggested that Jai Courtney is a better fit, but since I don't watch TV I don't have much basis to judge.

Question for you guys. It's been a while since I didn't do the ritual. During the rooftop argument over who's going to kill the archdemon, if you have a male Cousland who's going to become king, does Alistair play the "I have to do this since you're supposed to be king/prince consort" card?

Since the Warden can do that to him, it only seems fair.

alisgirl: it was a fun playthrough, and even did one for Zevran after that. I still prefer my Leliana one's though. As for understanding, I do a little how you ladies think of him. There's quite a bit difference in his personality from a romanced aspect to just the "bros" that I was used to. Romanced he is quite the little horndog once you get him there, and while with a male he talks about it once it's never brought up again except in banter with other companions, expecially Zevran and Leliana. I even used that to expand him in my writing, but I also committed a sacrilege in doing so.

LT123, oddly in my only two king runs I did the DR, so I can't really answer that one. :-(

Maria, I used to think that way with Leli/Ali things *glares* but since I paired Ali and Mori for one drunken night they both end up regretting, I can't say much. lol
