And I'm not ignoring/shirking my repost on the tragedy thing... I'm trying to write it so it's actually interesting to someone other than me.

I'm not offended, I just prefer canon Alistair. The 'aged' one isn't even recognizable to me.

Edit: Oh, wait, is that DA2? That's OK then, because even canon Alistair is unrecognizable in that one. I felt like Isolde when I saw him..."Who eees theees man?"

To each his/her own. Vanilla DA2 Alistair is unrecognizable to me, IMO, and he should have aged over the years. So I've modded my game. *shrug*

That's what I thought when I saw him too. And I agree.....he should have aged, no one stay's the same with age.

Hey, guys!  I'm trying to play catch up with all the fills!  Haven't had the chance to read them for awhile, so I better get busy!  I feel so ashamed that I haven't been contributing anything lately!  Hope you guys don't mind my random checking in.  I can't really comment on the fills yet, but I'm hoping to soon! 

I've recently downloaded the mod Ser Gilmore NPC and I'm trying out a playthrough with him and Lady Cousland, but I'm running into some issues...


Poor Surreal!  Even with modding Rory, it's hard to resist Ali's charms! 


I've decided the best option is to have as little interaction with Alistair for this play through as possible...because that dang dialogue option "Has anyone ever told you how handsome you are?" wont go away!

*waves* Hey, Java!  Welcome back!

Actually, you can navigate that dialogue option without triggering the romance.  You just have to answer, "It's just an observation, don't get excited," or just tell him you don't want him to tell you you're pretty.  You lose approval, I think, but the romance doesn't get triggered.

I have to get rid of that line, or it gets too tempting when I'm trying to do an Alistair-free runthrough!

It was a possibility, yes. I posted about it some time ago, but I did a pitch for an Alistair DLC along with Leliana's Song. And yeah, an Alistair DLC would have been nice...  Especially since a pre-DA:O story would have been able to escape all the problems that Witch Hunt suffered from (error with importing romance flags, etc)
