Having Alistair in DA3 kinda scares me. There is so much potential that could be disastrous for his character. BUT I still would love if more expansions were made for DA:O. It'll never happen though, guess that's what mods are for.

If they did make a Dragon Age movie (dont get me wrong, Dragon Age Origins/Awakening = best game I've ever played, and I'm getting DA 2 when HMV has more in stock) it would be nice if they didn't make it a sequel to the game series. Using the same characters would be ok, but I've seen other games (like Assassin's Creed with its 'Assassin's Creed Lineage') go down a few notches for trying to make movies out of their games. I also hope they dont pull a Call of Duty and make 7 DA games. that would ruin the series too. But this game is still the best I've ever played I just want to keep it that way.

@ Ambra - Wow, I never realized how awesome Chris Hemsworth would be for Alistair. Huh. Thor and Alistair. There are worse duos of characters to play...

@ Zeleen - Ooo, already got the new hair on your avatar, too! She's pretty! And, of course, hot Alistair is hot. 

I'd be a little scared of a DA movie simply because a movie tends to codify and canonize, and I love having so many options in my head for DA:O, in particular. That's one reason why, much as I love Alistair, I kinda like thinking of him only in his DA:O manifestation, not anything beyond that... DA2 has likely made quite a few people on the boards gunshy about that...

Speaking of which, that comic is due out soon, right?

He is handsome, funny and has Alistair's hair. He looks and acts much more like him than Thor.
She on the otherhand is just ugly.

EDIT: only actress I can think of that had the right oomph and looks was a younger Francesca Annis.  Damn she was beautiful, and had plenty of oomph.
