Honestly, I don't know if anyone could pull off these characters other than the actors who provided the voices originally. The actor's decisions went hand in hand with the writing to create the characters we all gush over.

I know many think it's important to match up looks, but it's the way they said the dialogue that made them real to me. Looks can be altered with makeup, etc. Hollywood's been doing that for years. Voices and creative acting decisions are a lot harder to change.

I don't believe it's mentioned anywhere when Alistair's birthday is. I couldn't even find it in "The Calling", although I don't tend to take that book as canon.
