I just voted for Alistair in a poll on the DA3 boards. Ha, ha.

There wasn't very many votes. I got the first one in for Alistair and Cullen doesn't have any votes.

For the "special" origin specific Alistair cutscene from IRS. Does that only happen once or can you trigger it with the dialogue whenever like you can with the Hug option?

The per- origin cutscene is repeatable, and as you suggest, triggerable via the dialogue.

I must be doing something wrong then. Because it used to be option 2. (Special) and now I can't find it. I'm doing the mage origin. It used to appear all the time but after I went to Lake Calenhad and clicked it, it's gone. Hmmmm

That's odd. It should be there, if you have an active romance. *scratches head*

I figured it out. I had seen it first when at the Dalish Camp, but hadn't attempted to click on it (it wouldn't have worked anyway since I'm a mage). So I assumed it was there all the time. So when I didn't see it in Denerim for instance I thought something was wrong. But it's all good. Went back to Lake Calenhad and it showed up again.

Let's see if I remember where the characters placed in the Poll.

first was Morrigan, then Cullen, the Warden, Varric, Leliana, and then Alistair.

I thought we might catch up to Leliana but we never did.

Do you think the poll is accurate to the general fan base?

Mage origin: Lake Calenhad
Dalish Origin: Brecillian Forest
Human Noble: Eamon's Estate in Denerim

I think sometimes the (Special) shows up anyway, but it won't play except as above.

I'm so glad I looked at this thread today! Wanted to try this mod, got the (special) prompt at the dalish camp, nothing happened and so I couldn't figure it out (playing a mage). Thank you!

Can't believe this thread is still alive. It also makes me want to play again. I have a Surana mistress, a Queen and a King Cousland--with a GW Alistair. Even my guys bromance Alistair because, well...I just love the character. Unsure what to play though. Maybe another Dalish...or City elf. Just can't finish a dwarf. I like the interactions when a Dalish finds the camp in the B.Forest, but the City elf is so badass...decisions, decisions...

@sylvanaerie - granted, I'm partial to CE myself. In fairness, though, the DE returning to the B.Forest is a better written than the CE return to the Alienage (grumble shoulda been handled better grumble) Still, glad to see you check back in here, and glad you're still enjoying Alistair-- er, I mean, DA:O!

Alistair wanted to give The Rose to Moira Cousland during Return to Ostagar, while they were working their way through the Tower of Ishal. Maybe he though the moment was right, since it was just the two of them? Being hip-deep in darkspawn corpses and splattered with blood is sort of romantic, right?  </snark>
