weird! In 4 PTs that had romance with Allistair done on the xbox, I never once got that line. I've only gotten it on the PC version (first PT). Maybe it's glitched on the console? EDIT - ahh I re-read and perhaps I 'feast-a-day' gifted him up to love or whatever too quickly on the console. I think this will mean yet another xbox Ali-PT.. oh for shame.


can't wait to get out of the deep roads, straight back to camp for their 'first night'. I am really enjoying all these mods

Actually, when i first looked at Alistair (my very first unspoiled playthrough), I thought, 'this guy is so goofy looking and THAT's the love interest???' Then he opened his mouth and Steve Valentine's voice came out speaking David Gaider's words and I just melted. There's something so wonderfully loveable about Alistair, even when he's angry at the Warden. He's still my favorite NPC in both games, and my favorite romance.

Not a lot of pics left on Imageshack, and lost a lot to an old reinstall/lost PC. But here's one of Alistair putting the smack down on an ogre.



And my favorite Alistair picture.  I used a mod to make  him more like Teagan (yes, I know, I'm obsessed ), but I really liked this one.  This mod too has been lost to old PC death.  I used IRS with the DahliaLynn hug option.  My mage had up the "haste" buff.  Just as they pulled apart and it was about to fade to black, one of the buff sparkles floated up next to his brow, illuminating the scene.  It was one of those once in a lifetime never to be repeated shots.  Alistair and Neria Surana, my personal favorite couple.

I think it's intentional. Every warden I've had doing that scene seems to wink at that point.

Lol, I did that kiss for Cme, it wasn't intentional. It didn't happen in the toolset with the dummy warden but it does with my actual warden in game, I always figured it had to do with hair/makeup mods.

I'm stuck in the Deep Roads, so no Thursday pictures.

Playing a mage, this is my first time bringing Alistair, Shale, and Oghren into the deep roads together. I always had to leave Shale behind and not get to trigger her dialogue with the Anvil. I'm excited to finally hear it. Leaving Alistair in Orzammar was clearly never an option.

Alistair. The Bastard Prince, sometimes. "Ali", on very rare occasions when I'm engaged in a discussion and want to save a few keystrokes.

Hey everyone!  I am a long time lurker and have never posted anything because I have the ps3 version and I can't post pretty pics.  Well, I spent a month making this custom King Alistair figure, so I thought it was about time I posted something.



Alistair is a repaint of Loghain from DC Unlimited, and the head is from the
John Crichton (farscape) figure from Toy Vault. I sculpted the hair.
I am happy with the likeness, even if it is a bit too grumpy for Alistair .

The shield is a printed picture from the game glued onto a bent plastic sheet.

I was inspired by someone else on the Bioware forums that repainted Loghain.

I use Alibear only in fun, never as a nickname in general. I also hate when people are refer to him as "Ali." I prefer to use his full name, but very rarely handle it like kh/skm, since I'm lazy. Lenya calls Alistair only Ali when she is drunk. Her endearment/ private name for him is Atish'an, however. Which means as much as "safe place" or "place of peace" in elvish ...because this is he for her. A rock in the chaotic storm that is her life. (D'aaaw) Also only Alistair knows the meaning of this words. 

On the other hand, I'm amused by the 20+ page landsmeet discussion in the DA:I forum. And Gaider b*tchslapping the Alistair troll personally? Priceless.

heh, loved that post that DG made on the "i hate alistair" thread, When he replied that next time they make a male lead he will be so manly, he will suck the body hair out of John Wayne and make Chuck Norris weep with envy.
