Of course I like to punch out Lady Isolde so that might be part of my problems.

I've been replaying DAO. What equipment do you give Alistair? I give him the sword oath keeper with one rune slot that you get from a chantry board quest. I also pick up a +2 electric rune for free somewhere and use that on the sword.
On a different note: I can't seem to do romances. they're to difficult for me.

I'm almost done with my last PC playthrough as a mage, and have been looking for some mods to extend the game, other than the FixPacks, IRS, usual ones. Are there any mods that actually add extra areas to explore where I could take my Warden and party members with me into battle/really just Alistair?
Also, does anyone have any good mage robe recommendations? I have an elf mage and all she's been in the whole game is the senior mage robes. I don't like the heavy collars so most of the robes from the Wonders of Thedas shop I passed on. I was searching around the nexus a bit and found one that seemed like a variation to the default robes, but didn't find much else except lots of pretty armor. Any mage robes of note? Thanks!

Wow, thank you so much.:D
I pretty much just downloaded all of that. Can't wait to see it in game. Do you know if any particular outfits conflict with each other ID wise... should I look out for that, or can I just throw them all in?
In the Robes of the High Dragon picture... What is your Warden wearing?
Oh for the Shangrilla noble dress, is there not an icon for it? It shows up as a grey square. Just want to make sure it installed properlly. It looks great on, just no icon.

Why thank you.
I haven't used many dazip mods, just a handful. Most of the ones I have are just put in the override folder and don't affect the force load save pop up. Do you know if removing dazip clothing mods would affect a save game? Should I maybe leave the .erf in if I ever remove it in the future... or can I remove that too and it's not a big deal with the clothing mods?

I really like the Warden's Keep DLC. It's one of my favorites other than Shale's. I like the story and the armor you get from it (it's what Alistair is always wearing, I think of it as his armor in my games) and the fact you have a sort of home base.
If I ever start making my own mods I would try and make an extension to that, maybe use the same environments and work in an interior explorable area, after it's defeated. There's so much that could be done with Warden's Keep, storywise, IMO.
Edit: I've cleaned up a lot of my mods. They are actually organized now, phew.
I have the Morrigan Restoration Pack and of course IRS installed. I held off on installing ZDF because I was worried about compatibility but when I was looking at the Gatekisses mod I re-read the ZDF nexus page and supposedly it is now fully compatible with MRP so if I were to just delete the Alistair folder in ZDF would that be enough to get rid of any issues? And then with gatekisses, is that also compatabile or would I need to delete the part_events.dlg and .dlb files? IRS is a dazip install so I can't find the files to compare them...

Keeping mods organized is more work, but in the long run, it makes life a lot easier!
I use the override install of IRS, but assuming the dazip is identical, there are two files in ZDF/Alistair that don't conflict with IRS: cutscene_funeral.dlb/cutscene_funeral.dlg. The rest of them should be removed for IRS compatibility. (Mods in override take precedence over mods in Addins - i.e., dazip installed mods, so the game will ignore the IRS version and use the one from ZDF.)
IRS doesn't have a party_event.dlb/dlg, so there's no conflict there. Gatekisses does use a different version of those files than the current versions of both ZDF and MRP, though.

I didn't know there was an override install of IRS. Is it still available for download? I like using the overrides whenever possible. But it seems harder to track them down these days. Most downloads are dazip. (Edit: Oh is that the DAO modmanager override download available on BSN?) I haven't used ModManager yet. I'm too attched to dragging and dropping files.
I left in the 2 cutscene files, and deleted the rest.

Thanks! That's good to know.
Edit: Using the toolsetexport as an override for the override folder is helping me a ton with trying out different aesthetic mods. I was trying the smaller hands mod for humans and elves. I'm not sure if I like it better or not. It helps to have Alistair's hand not be twice the size of my Warden's face, but at the same time it is so hard to get hands looking realistic and not creepy in games.

The hands. The hands! *shudders* Alistair always looks like he's going to crush my Elf Warden's head when he holds her face in his giant hands.
Yep, I was talking about the Modmanager override version of IRS. From what I can tell, it's pretty much an 'automated' manual install... it dumps a folder with all the files into override.
The toolsetexport folder is the best thing ever, isn' t it? I use it (or maybe that should be 'abuse it') for trying things out, for things I know I'm going to swap out at some point (like NPC morphs with different hairstyles for different points in the story, or alternate armour textures), and to resolve some override conflicts... like tmp's female proportions fix seems to be happiest there in my install.

My Addins.xml doesn't include any of the three .override mods I've installed with the Modmanager, and uninstalling them doesn't cause a force-load. Since.override archives can be decompressed with 7zip, and there is nothing inside but the mod files - in proper file hierarchy - and a manifest listing what they are. I assume that you can just drop the contents in override manually. (Though if the mod includes a configuation menu (like NBaio), that won't work.)

Oh, I didn't realize that. I am going to 7zip the override files and take a look. Will definitely download some of those for archiving then.
I am at the point right before the Landsmeet, and am hoping to trigger Jowan's Quest. I tried using both mods that address that but so far no luck. It completely bugged my chantry board in denerim. The lady next to it still has a quest marker over her head. I noticed that quite a lot actually. I have a few NPCs that have quest complete markers for already completed, and received items for, quests. Grand Oak, Chantry board, mage's collective man in denerim, Ruck's mother.
And because my last few posts didn't mention Alistair...

I've never been able to get Jowan's quest to properly trigger, with any of the available fixes. (I even made my own, with the toolset, following instruction I found either here on BSN or on the Wiki.) I ended up using the console to debug it for my Amell PT, since that quest was one of the reasons I made her.
