Good news, Alistairians! ![]()

Is it wrong that I got the Steve Valentine news from the Cullen Thread. Ha, ha.
YES! A 1000 times yes! LOL and doesn't he look like he's having a blast on the microphone!
YES!, Dragon age wouldn't have been complete without Alistair
And is it just me or is Steve looking a bit like Alistair in that pic?
While I really never cared for Alistair's over-sensitivities, I did appreciate his humor and battle acumen. I did remake him to look a little more the part than his vanilla looks didn't make him out to be, IMO .

Well, he *is* only 20 years old, so the lack of wrinkles isn't strange.

Huh? How do you know his age? As an aside, I didn't make him look older, I only added some darker facial features, nothing more. What you are seeing is Alistair with darker facial hairs on his jaw and chin areas and a different eye texture.

According to World of Thedas, he was born in 9:10 Dragon.
I always found the vanilla Alistair already looks a bit too mature for his age, I was a bit surprised when I found out he's only 20. But I like your Alistair, Tommy6860, I use the scruff on him too (and the chest hair at at....hm
)
Damn, this mod... ![]()
I wonder if he would look a lot better on the new engine compared to the butchery of his appearance in da2.
But looking at dai morrigan I shouldnt keep my hopes up.
yea, seriously, Alistair, Teagan and Zevran all got hatcheted for DA2. I was of the opinion whoever did that to them should be boiled in oil. Thank god for the modding community and DA2 on PC. From the looks of things, Morrigan, Cassandra and Varric all look like a racehorse that's been ridden hard and put in it's stall wet.
All Alistair has to do really is open his mouth and out will come Steve Valentine's voice. Even if he looks like hell, I'll still love the character.
DA2 Ali was cute, I don't even care and yes! @ the chest hair slay!

I don't know what it is with BW changing engines or whatever it is responsible for looks mid series or for the final installment but it's ghoulish effects are really disturbing. They did this from me2 to ME3 and my shepard was no longer my shepard. The rest looks pretty close probably because it was a set head morph, but forget what happened to my shepard. It was criminal. Sounds like they are doing it again. Though I ended up changing half the characters faces because I felt the modding artists came up with so much better representations. In fact, I really have to wonder about the graphics department at BW. Some of what they come up with makes them think they have a bizarre connection to ugly and hideous. Those mage robes in both DA games were pretty horrific at best. And alistair's hair? He looks like a backstreet boy or something. I modded him for duncan's ponytail with a bit more dark brown/reddish to his look. More rugged looking. So much better especially for an ex chantry duncan worshipper.

I just started a new playthrough (with a rogue f!cousland) and this time I'm actually planning to put Anora on the throne and let Alistair stay a warden, my only concern is: do I still harden him or not?(personally I prefer him hardened) Is it better for him to remain unhardend if I'm not going to make him king? How do the events of the Landsmeet affect hardened/unhardened Alistair who is going to stay a warden?

Don't read if you don't want a spoiler: Highlight text below.
That is fine, but if you want to keep Alistair as a possible lover, he needs to be hardened
