Today, during my third game, it really hit me how much Solas grunts during fights...I keep wanting to stop and see if he's ok or what he's doing to cause all that grunting.

So if I may continue to keep the alistair convo going, do you think he'll even find our warden, wherever she ran off to? I imagine she's out way into the anderfels, perhaps past weisshaupt. I can't even begin to imagine what would cure their taint. Drinking the blood of a darkspawn that's already drunken warden blood to gain that higher level of architect intelligence?

It seems there has to be a cure. If the tranquil can be cured by something that sounds relatively easy, maybe it's right in front of their faces and they'll have a d'oh moment? Just thoughts for my head canon

His king cameo isn't lame, it's just not warden-centric.

In his king cameo, he rips that idiot Fiona a new one and tells her she's not welcome in Ferelden.  Watching him dress her down more than made up for any lack of dialogue I had with him.  Plus you get a couple very "Alistairian" letters on the wartable with a couple of missions.  Adorkable   

But he was like gone in 2 seconds as King :-( Having said that, I haven't seen the warden alistair yet, so I might moan less about it later.. maybe.

I haven't had king Alistair yet but I'm betting it's not as fleshed out. Maybe lame is a strong word, but seeing as he hardly knows quizzy, he's not going to divulge all the things we want him to, and which he does as a warden. My next playthrough, my elf mage is his mistress and I'll BET he doesn't mention that

The thing is he was pretty busy running mages out of his kingdom and he wasn't really in the mood for chit chat lol, so it was rather a brief meeting understandably. His warden appearance was much better but then there was a storyline to go with it.

 

I have had a mistress and queen ws but honestly I can't recall her letters at all, I think its because it was my first and second pt and I just clicked off the letter rather than read it, I'm going to have to redo those again me thinks.

I'm sure she's still off to find the cure for them, but it seems to be a missed opportunity that he doesn't return to the main plot even when king since all wardens hear that false calling. He could've gone to skyhold and been like wtf is this song in my head, make it stop since I know you're looking into it...*robot voice* must follow calling....and then you have to go save the king of Ferelden! Would've given that quest a new layer of importance!

I can't remember but you probably still get a table mission to find her and she probably tells you in the letter back.

I only got war table messages from king all and its vent and ofc food. No mention of the queen

The only way you can read the letter from the HOF is actually go to the codex, find it, and then read it, so it's easy to miss.

You get one Wartable mission to ferret out Venatori agents in his castle (they were in the kitchen staff), with a follow up letter after the mission is done.  A second mission happens after you do the ball and he asks you to help with peace talks with Orlais.  I can't recall if you get another letter after that one.  Usually by this point in the game I'm running around doing end stuff and kind of concentrating on that rather than the wartable.

 

All the letters are absolutely Alistair-adorable!  Especially the first one.

Wish I could find more art from our latest and greatest Alistair face model! I need to go commission some lovely artist! But old pics aren't too shabby! I bet Ali got a tat after they whooped the arch demon so this is totally within lore

I always look for warden stuff. Metagame DA2 for it. I guess it's because I feel more connected to my Cousland than any other character. So I still feel like her playing other games.

It's not being starved for anything. But others loaded the queen WS for a reason but it seems like King Alistair has completely forgotten about her. Hell even Hawk talks about their other half.
But if you load a warden Alistair ws, it seems much more satisfying judging by what goes around on bsn. I havent seen it yet and I also dont want to spoil it. And im doing it on my next play through. Though, I'm probably just going to play it til after Here Lies the Abyss just to see it because I'm already a little bit bored with the game heh.
