He was there since Day 1, you've been through a lot together. I'm sure that to this day, King Alistair still tells people stories about the time when it was just the two surviving wardens facing the Blight.

Indeed, even my male characters have a 'bro-mance' with him.  It was rather disconcerting to hear how he spoke about him in DAI.  I got the feeling they had a bit of a falling out (my King Cousland/DR/Loghain dead import).  The relationship has a whole "Us against the world" feel to it.

Am not sure, but i have a feeling we're up to something sinister regarding Teagan, hope they don't make us kill him, but the look on his face and the way he's gazing reminds me of the treacherous Howe.

No, I don't know what's going on with him in Trespasser.  He isn't in Descent.  I was talking about Darkspawn Chronicles (he's one of the random Ferelden citizens in Denerim your darkspawn can encounter and kill).  The dialogue I over heard in Trespass makes him sound antagonistic to the PC and the scene he's in outside the court makes him look like he will be an antagonist.  I'm just guessing, not sure.

If Teagan dies, so will the franchise for me.  Even not buying it won't save it for me because I will hear about it.  DSC was one thing, that was a non-canon piece of crap.  This is part of the actual story.

 

At least Alistair looks fantastic in Frostbite, so one of my fellas translated well.

How do you know this is supposed to be Teagan? He doesn't make a guest appearance in DAI that I can remember, and no one ever refers to this character by name that I've seen. What makes you think this is supposed to be Teagan and not some other character? Did you hack into the files or something?

Its Teagan, it has been confirmed by Mike Laidlaw on twitter and in an interview he did with Lady Insanity. Its on her youtube channel.

as for the frostbite i was making a joke about the new engine it wasn't nice to him.

That character only shows up when you start to storm the Arbor Wilds, yeah? And never speaks and no one ever refers to that character by name. Are you just joking that that's probably how bad Teagan would look if he shows up in the Frostbite engine? Because I can't tell the difference between a joke and serious over the internet.

Those pics are clips from the new Trespasser DLC due out in a couple months.  The voice actor is definitely Teagan's.  As you can see, he looks like hell and from the images like someone who's displeased with the Inquisitor.  Almost Howe-like as someone observed upthread.

 

By DAI he's become Arl of Redcliffe.

I would like to share your opinion on the character,but things have not went in this direction in my canon ,due to the fact that i played a very merciful and loyal to the cause Warden.

He wished Loghain dead so badly, that he forgot completely our friendship and the favors that my warden had done to him,not to mention that he forgot Ferelden in that moment.

Same with Morrigan,but to be honest i was more sad for Alistair leaving,i even tell to him at the end that he would have been always welcomed,but nothing he leave in great anger and sorrow,but i cannot kill someone in front of her daughter and all the nobles just to maintain a friendship,what kind of test is this?

To be a friend i have to be the judge the jury and the executioner?

So at the end my Warden was completely alone defended only by Leliana (my favourite) and Loghain whom my wardens came to understand the sadness when he was defeated at the landsmeet (i do not kill someone who surrender,this brutality is not in my style) .

So no he is not king in my canon,one do not pretend to be a king just to get the power to kill someone.

I always give a 2nd chance (not to the AD) and i like to think that AListair got it better over the years after Loghain's death.

So as much as i can understand his motives,  in my case he still done a great damage to my warden (same for the witch) who fought alone without them the AD, only spared by one last bit of  light from Loghain (  power of mercy not of a shady ritual).

There was a bond once,just there was a bond with Morrigan as well,a bond that they destroyed when they make their harsh decision in complete autonomy.

Post DAO i will always  be grateful to those who remained with me until the end,particularly those who weren't using me for their own end (Leliana,Wynne and somehow Shale)

for the rest, i will leave them to their own remorse,they abandoned me because i was merciful and dutiful,i don't care about them anymore.
