I see a lot of Alistair/Cousland. Never managed to finish one of those myself, though. (As avatar!Moira Cousland gives me the stink eye...)

Stink eye huh? Maybe if you finish her there will be a little more controller love :D . Give her some closure and a gorgeous dahlialynn wedding.

My games (how plebeian of me :P ) are Cousland dw rogue. ^_^

The only time I played and finished a non-cousland game it was Amell and we all know what happens when Morrigan's ritual doesn't get done :crying:

On a sidenote, I'm kind of looking at Cass as his female equivalent.. although not entirely. I kept thinking of her with a warrior or mage, but maybe rogue would be cool too. For some reason, Alistair seems more flexible though. There's a lot of stories that seem to click with him (kind of how I see Leliana too).

I did Cass with a human warrior and a elven Mage. They look are so girly to look at though (my CC skills aren't the best. And I play the Sims 4, so I should be better with my CC skills but I'm not, I'm horrible at it). I'm just relaying that i have horrible CC skills but love the Cass romance, and I have two men doing her romance, I think it'll do a Male Human Mage with her next (cause Mages are the best class to play!)

But anyways, to Alistair,

I really liked his romance and had ruthless enough females (besides for the practical Broska and my Leliana romancing male Cousland whom kept Loghian alive) that killed Loghian. My Female Amell was very smart, but had such a 'keep everyone alive and well!' Personality that she let Alistair kill Loghian himself (not dueling, she dueled him. And it was fair, she's an Acrane Warrior with a sword and shield). She just let Alistair kill him and let Anora be queen. My Canon Cousland? Nah, she was all fair and just. She dispised Loghian ruining Ferelden and selling elves to Tevinter Slavers, It digusted her to the point where killing him was her goal in the end. She killed him herself, and went on to becoming Queen Consort with Alistair.

Yeah, I was set on an elf in pre-release, but wasn't a fan of the look.

Warrior Cousland sounds cool too. It's like Maric and Rowan in a way. There's all kind of funny parallels with his parents, depending on your class/race, I guess (since someone mentioned Katriel and Fiona earlier).

My family keeps on telling me that my Male Lavellens look femine, lol. Yeah, I just did Male Lavellen as a experiment (so that I could move on to a Male Mage Trevelyan if nessary)

Yeah! Indeed, it's like Rowan and Maric, besides my Cousland would beat the other woman's butt if she came even close to her dear beloved.

I love Sims 4!  I really enjoyed Sims 2, kind of liked Sims 3 (especially making fairies and witches and stuff), but Sims 4 has been my favorite so far.  It's very 'goal oriented' with the rotating Aspirations.  Usually I get bored playing one sim for more than a day or so, but this version of the game is so much more engaging!

With Sims 3 I had the best, most spectacular death I've seen in all three versions.  While her husband (Teagan) was at work, my Neria was in the garden.  I saw an old woman freaking out on the sidewalk, but couldn't figure out what was up, so I queued up the activities, and KABLAMMO!  a huge ass meteor not only struck my sim, but obliterated the garden as well!  All the male sim could do when he got back that evening was mourn his wife. :(

So far I've made Teagan, Alistair, Eamon, Isolde, Connor and Neria in Sims 4 to play.

Yeah, the sims 4 is where all my bad, bad things go and occure. The Sims 3 is also where I make my Sims suffer.... Heheh. It keeps me from making my DA people suffer horrific stuff happen to them....

It either wouldn't be safe with other people in power, or it just isn't that necessary to stick there. I mean, he's in Kirkwall in DA2 as well.. along with Nathaniel.

Yeah, but he isn't just passing by. He literally answers to Clarel now, as he says so himself.

Because the Warden Commander of Ferelden if off somewhere, so he went over to Orlais? Or Clarel is both the acting Warden Comander of both Ferelden and Orlais. But... No! His true loyality is towards his lover (or in my Female Amells world state). Yeah, I think it's just a cover position as he waits for her to return.

True enough. I didn't explore the details. I had one playthrough that actually used this option, but then deleted it. For various reasons.

That's what I want to know too. Because with the HoF gone, be sould have become the senior warden of Ferelden. Unless Anora kicked his ass off screen which is also unlikely as she had no jurisdiction over the wardens.

Yeah, but Alistair might have thought it best anyways, just to prove a point that he didn't care for her position. I mean, it seems like him. And it's not like he'd be the only Warden who could do the job.

There's just so many variables development wise though that it's just easy to do it this way.

I only think this choice should have had the Warden and Hawke.

<snort>  Wrong.  Anora as queen would have both the authority and the power to say "Y'know, on second thought I'm kicking you out of my country now that you're no longer needed" just as one of her predecessors did.  Not that she'd need to.  All she'd need to do is send them a letter reminding them of what happened the last time the Wardens were stupid enough to station a pretender to the Ferelden throne inside Ferelden between blights.  If they even needed that reminder.

No. My Amell is still alive, and she's a Warden Commander. She has far more power then Anora has (and yes, she romaced Warden Alistair too). So why would Anora want to in rage the Hero? I dunno, that's not very smart of Anora, getting the HOF maddened at Alistair being expelled from Ferelden (even my Morrigan romance Prince Consort is pissed about that, and he usually doesn't like Alistair that much, he only wants Alistair around in case he's gone....)

So yeah, my Amell is his bloody lover, that's not very wise of Anora to do (unless she wants to loss her head by the Ferelden common folks who comes after her head). And she's a Mage, and he let go of his claim to the throne years ago, why would she do something?

That's nice but not relevant.  I was responding to a situation where the Hero was gone "leaving Alistair as the senior Gray Warden in Ferelden" .  But if the two of pose that big a threat to Anora, she's perfectly capable of going over your head and asking the warden bosses in the Anderfells to find something different for the two big heros to do that won't put Ferelden at risk of civil war without your Hero even knowing she did it.

But the last time a monarch kicked them out of Ferelden is when they rebelled. And there's no codex that Anora kicked them. Kinda hard for them to host a rebellion with just a handful of wardens. Most likely 10.

Neither does King Cousland have the authority, and even he makes Alistair leave.

Honestly though, I don't think a lot of DAO stuff carries over well. It's why I deleted that playthrough. It also had Morrigan's ritual, with a Warden who killed Leliana. The minute I got a scene with Varric and Cass fighting, and how she told me they were searching for the Warden or Hawke as the new Inquisitor, I deleted it. She might have her differences with Leli, but they're friends, and a hardcore Andrastian. They're not good at providing outcomes to questionable behavior in general.

You know, death comes eventually to everyone. It isn't how long, but what she does with the time she has.

Not for the like of Solas and the nightmare demon they will live forever

Reading the different codexs in DA2, it's clear that the writers consider the joint rule with Alistair and Anora the *ideal ending* as it says that Ferelden has prospered.

On the other hand, the codex for Alistair sole ruler implies political instability. People are divided between those who believe his rule is legitimate and those who think that it was all a ruse to overthrow Anora.

But I'll stand by my decision. I'm not giving her power.

The DAO codexes are half truth and half lies, still for the whole monarch thing for those slide the more positive slides were for the Anora and male warden

Where did you discovered this?
Where is mentioned that king Cousland makes Alistair leave?
It can be reasonable for my canon and it would explain as for why he was not in DAA.
But that is just an headcanon of mine i never read any codex or information on thar account.
Anora or her consort forced Alistair to leave?
Or it was just his decision

I'm not saying she kicked out the Wardens.  I'm saying that she could get the Wardens to move Alistair to somewhere where he'd be less of a problem by reminding them of what happened last time.

Alistair says it in one of the Skyhold convos. I don't remember the exact line though.
