I hardly knew Khalara but I always loved the sense of humor in her posts as well as the fan art she posted. This really came out of nowhere, I'm really sorry to hear this. My deepest sympathy to all of her family.

I didn't expect to come back to this news, I was horrified! I left a condolence note on her DevART page as I've looked at Nicirian's gallery there more times than I can count. How tragic.

It's very sad and sobering.  I feel the need to say that even though this is just a game and just a game site, I appreciate all of you and the little bits of creativity and fun you bring.  Something like this makes you realize it.

Yes, and it made me cry to post it, and now I'm crying again.  It's so odd to grieve for someone that you hardly knew and with whom you really only shared the love of a video game character.  But reading her husband's words made me feel like it could have been me or any one of us.  I guess you probably know what I mean.
