Oh Wow, reading the last couple pages, very sorry to hear about the loss of Khalara, my thoughts are with her family and friends. I don't know what to say past that, as I'm just not very good at these things.

I was actually popping in quick to share some info. I've been playing the Witch Hunt DLC and shrieking about the end dialog bug. After all, I only played it to see what happened to my LI's kiddo and such, so the bug at the end enraged me a bit. BUT there's a fix. I haven't played awakening yet on any of my girls. So I don't know how this works if you have. I will now however, ONLY import this way.

At the end of Origins the game creates your post campaign auto save. Named "Post-CampaignSave (1)-Epilogue". Where you are placed "on the road". Import THAT save. Do NOT enter camp from here (or if you do, save as another name). Entering camp from that particular save apparently fubars some plot flags, as it places you in the pre-denerim battle timeline. Therefor the game sees it as you not doing the DR when you import to WH. I played twice through saves I had made in camp and got the wrong dialog at the end. I then took the advice found in one of the threads, and imported from Post Campaign Save-Epilogue, played through and got the right one, and was happy with it.

Oh, that's good to know!  I did enter camp and saved from there.  I'll have to back up a bit and try again.  Thanks!

I imported an Awak save, but I imported that save into awak from the post corrination save (Queen Cous Cous). The save from the camp, not the road.  I had the no DR bug too - bummer.  Is it ok to ask what she says about the baby?

Yep, this is correct. Terra_Ex on the Morrigan thread gave a very technical explanation about it.

Although I'd recommend to use a savefile right before you're about to roll the epilogue slides, when you're still in the post coronation area.

She doesn't say much other than the baby is a boy, the baby is innocent, and the baby must be trained to be prepared for what's about to come.

Oh joy, I end up with no weapons if I do that since my added-on weaponry doesn't transfer.  Lol, I think I have to play a game specifically for Witch Hunt  *sigh*

Yeah, it looks like she posted it day before yesterday.  And she was working on a new character.  You are right.  It was so sudden, it could happen to any of us.

That Alistair picture she posted was actually awesomely funny...  Shows what a great sense of humour she had.  She was also trying to write a FF and we exchanged some messages.  This is just so sad...:(

Hmmmm. Wonder if that's the PC for DA3. I hope not. I like playing more of an normal person rising to the occasion.

I doubt it really. I'm not sure how convenient that would be. Can you imagine if you played a male warden who fathered the baby, getting a father-son reunion in DA3 between that warden and the kid? Or if Alistair fathered the baby, meeting Alistair as your father in DA3?!?!?

*creepy*

Very creepy. I would rather play someone other than my warden and meet him as a companion. Maybe he inherited his father's good looks. Posted Image

I'm hoping that you won't ever be the OGB. After all, it would have been the easiest thing in the world to keep it at 'my child' or 'our child' instead of making it definitely a boy. Odds on it being a party member, other important NPC, or even a villain are pretty good, though, I'd think.

Ack...I knew Witch Hunt was going to force my ff into AU territory--so much for Morrigan's "daughter".

You'll start with a sword in your inventory called Wardens Companion. It's basically a Duncan sword, good stats. Also, YOUR weapons get shoved into your inventory for some reason, thats where I found mine.

I don't like it that they confirmed it's a boy. I'd prefer it they keep ambiguous.

Though the fact that it's a boy pretty much confirms he won't be the PC in DA3 unless Bioware wants to force a gender on the player.

Well, not necessarily. They could have it where the kid has a major gender-identity crisis and goes to Tevinter for a sex change operation.:wizard:

Well, I was an archer, so had to re-spec into something that can use one lone sword.  My old daggers and bow never made it.  No biggie, was just kind of funny.  I better get the right ending!  I'll try it this one last time, anyway.

I'm more than ready to get back to Alistair and my elf and having some time at Lake Calenhad.

Well, you don't get to choose which wrigglers make it to the egg in real life.

I'm happy my Cousland prince sired a boy - makes him feel better if Anora fails to produce anything.

Did anyone else fell like Morrigan's "change is coming" speech at the end was nothing more than a promo for DA2 and directed at those of us who are iffy about the changes being made?

And yet you get to choose for any of the origins...And if he and Anora fail to produce anything, I highly doubt Morrigan's mage-demon baby will be able to help with that.

Didn't see it like that. Basically, I'm guessing that Morrigan's trip through the looking glass is going to lead to a major world/universe warping event. Even more so, I'm guessing the Black City has a major role to play, since I am not even sure if it's even in the Fade, or native to it.

To be brutally honest, when she said "change is coming" I actually thought she was going to reveal herself as Flemeth who had taken Morrigan's appearance.... silly me!

I think if my Cousland had married Anora, I would have preferred the throne to go to Fergus' son (I'm assuming he remarries and has more children).

So I guess everyone thinks Morrigan's above lying to you about the gender of your child to make it harder for you to track her down?

I don't think she would lie and besides if she was telling the truth about "beyond this world and the fade" the OGB's gender isn't going to be much help.
