Oh Wow, reading the last couple pages, very sorry to hear about the loss of Khalara, my thoughts are with her family and friends. I don't know what to say past that, as I'm just not very good at these things.

I was actually popping in quick to share some info. I've been playing the Witch Hunt DLC and shrieking about the end dialog bug. After all, I only played it to see what happened to my LI's kiddo and such, so the bug at the end enraged me a bit. BUT there's a fix. I haven't played awakening yet on any of my girls. So I don't know how this works if you have. I will now however, ONLY import this way.

At the end of Origins the game creates your post campaign auto save. Named "Post-CampaignSave (1)-Epilogue". Where you are placed "on the road". Import THAT save. Do NOT enter camp from here (or if you do, save as another name). Entering camp from that particular save apparently fubars some plot flags, as it places you in the pre-denerim battle timeline. Therefor the game sees it as you not doing the DR when you import to WH. I played twice through saves I had made in camp and got the wrong dialog at the end. I then took the advice found in one of the threads, and imported from Post Campaign Save-Epilogue, played through and got the right one, and was happy with it.

Thank you Lady Jess!  Do you know if the flags stay in place if you import into Awakenings from that point?  I'm a little weird about doing things in order.  I see witch hunt as an end to this particular warden saga and would like to leave that for last.

Also, do you know how to switch the flags in the toolset so that they are correct?  I'm not sure I want to rerun all of my wardens through Awakenings just to correct a plot flag.

I don't think so to be honest. Considering she says the same thing to a Warden who romances her and then lets him accompany her into the mirror, I can't see why she'd be lying about that.

I wonder if we ever see the child, will he bear a semblance to his father? Will we see a little Loggy or Alistair? Or a child that resembles your Warden?

Why would she do that?  Your chances are nil anyway.

I do wish there'd been something about Alistair and the other Origins companions in this, our last Origins DLC.  There were Anders easter eggs, but not even a mention for the others.

I was glad about the elven lore.  I did wish for something a little more in the Dalish area for Idun.  That mirror was so significant for her.  Even one line of dialogue about how much she'd lost there, how her life changed, would have been nice.  But I'm still glad they chose to give the Dalish origin some love.

I'm taking my Fem Cousland through Awakening now from that save to find out, so I don't know yet. I *think* amongst all the posts someone mentioned it worked. If it does I'll post back. My mage...well if it works for my FemCousland, I'll take her through again, maybe. I'm just trying to wrap up my favorites since apparently their story is finished.

I think the The Warden Child, Godchild or a New Demonbaby "not connected to the Warden" will return as an important npc, or a companion in DA3. There are two more Archdemons and i'm sure Morrigan will find some way of getting what she wants.

What, you didn't get any?  Ariane told Kara how sorry she was to have had to bring her there, with so many bad memories and what not...I actually felt it was really nicely done and appreciated the Dalish call out.  And the acknowledgements (for the most part) of how Ariane was different than the Dalish Warden (left the clan, Kara's blood was no good for the spell, etc.).

I suppose we could always ask for more, but I was prety satisfied with it.  And **SPOILER** she told Kara that someone in the Mahariel clan had named their son Tamlen!  <3<3<3  that made me awwww out loud, just loved it.

Thanks again LJ.  I  may just run my favorites through the final battle one more time, equipped with everything I need for Awakenings and import from the post epilogue to try it out.  It'll give me a chance to give The Dark Ritual mod a real work out as well.;)

Keep that kid away from mirrors.

While I love a good Anders shoutout as much as the next slavering fangirl, the utter lack of Alistair is very distressing. Will we ever find out why even Morrigan lovers can disappear with their beloved while Princess CousCous has to strike out on her own?

I've yet to import a Dalish but I sure look forward to all those references! Seriously, put the nasty DR bug aside and this was the best DLC by far.

This. Tbh, I wasn't expecting much from the dlc but this is all I really wanted considering it's the last. I was dissapointed with Awakenings that no one acknowledges you as queen (or king for that matter) other than Alistair himself and Anders' "ball and chain" comment. I know I am a little hung up on the "doesn't anyone know I am queen thing" , but still, my warden chose to  marry Alistair and stay at court, how come nobody knows?

Did anyone attack Morrigan? I found it really harsh.

"Spoiler" -

You stab her in the gut with a part of the broken mirror. I doubt she's died, since Gaider isn't finished with Morrigan yet.

I didn't get anything like that!!!  Where does she say that?  All I got was in the Mage tower, where you can say "I was that elf."  And a couple mentions when talking to the templar and later on when discussing Dalish blood.

I will say I am also a tad disappointed that there was no mention of Alistair or our relationship. There could at least have been something. Even a dialog line with the dog at the beginning saying something to the affect, "We'll be joining Alistair as soon as we're done here." type of thing. That would have given us Alistair fan girls a nod at least.

Horrible. Saw it on youtube because I couldn't bear watching my Warden do it. Seriously, there's no logical reason to stab her other than "I hate Morrigan and I didn't get a chance to kill her in Origins!".

And I agree, there's no way she'll die. Somehow she'll recover on the other side of the mirror. I would like it if angry Morri comes back to haunt those that stabbed her!

Yeah this so very much. I realize we Ali lovers did get the best endings in general, especially compared to Morrigans but throw us a bone here...or at least a scooby snack!

:o

Ariane says the sorry thing a couple of times in the elven ruins, most especially right at the mirror, which is where I also got the choice of saying (paraphrasing) "the last time I saw Tamlen here he was alive and well" and "this is where everything happened, where it all changed".  I picked the Tamlen line which is when Ariane mentioned that she had heard someone in the clan had named a child that.

Maybe there was a problem with importing Idun as a Dalish mage?  Did you get the line about how they could use Ariane's blood but not the Warden's? The only part I felt they might have missed was with the strider thing, but that was forgiveable.

Someone said in another thread when a queen cousland asks where the child is, Morrigan replies with something like 'are you afraid he will be after the throne?" I didn't get that. I think there may be some more bugs in this thing then we are aware of. The throne thing could be explained by approval, if it's taken into account. My warden was friendly with Morrigan and the comment sounds like it could be snarky. But I can't think of a logical reason not to get that Dalish acknowledgment if you are Dalish.

I got that line but with my mage. I felt the line was sort of like "huh, you still think I want an heir to the throne, please!".

So to bring the discussion back on topic... :-P

Do you think Alistair would send the Warden to look for Morrigan if he got word of her re-appearance? I'm trying to think of an RP reason why Kara and Amelia would go looking - they, in and of themselves, would more likely hold to their promise to let Morrigan go.

I used to think that Alistair would probably not want to know...but maybe? What do you guys think?

Fourth time through and still bugged, although it was a smidgen closer.  I used the supposed 'correct' save, but still she denied the DR, although did acknowledge there was a child, and that was about it.  I think I'm done with it until there's some sort of fix.

I'm ready to go back to Alistair.

I think as a Queen Cousland, maybe you'd want to leave Alistair out of it.  If that's the only child he's going to have (if he did the DR), maybe she'd just say she's going off to take care of some sort of business and not be specific.

That must be.  Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image  I thought it was all firing correctly since Ariane was reacting to her as a Dalish PC and we had the dialogues in the mage tower.  And yes, she did get the line about Ariane's blood.
