I am not a hypocrit. If I say all choices are valid depending on perspective and character, then I mean it.

I had starting thinking of KoP as sort of a curmudgeon. But I'm beginning to see the reason for all the KoP admiration. Pretty impressive open-minded posts tonight.

People keep using the wrong terms, like murder and kill for the final scene with Morrigan in WH. You only get given the option to attack Morrigan, unlike Origins where you can "kill" the prisoner and soldier (Those are just two examples.) David Gaider said Morrigan and Flemeth are two of the most important characters in thedas, they both tie into a long story arc. I wonder how the WH will affect Morrigan in the third game? David did say recently that this DLC is not an ending for Morrigan.
Yea but when you actually pick that option, the character wants to kill her. Unless you rp someone who just wants to stab her and not kill her for....some reason.
But yes, she doesn't die. But the act of attacking her can be seen as attempted murder.

You need a pic URL and you post it in between [ img ] and [ /img ], taking out the extra spaces there.OfficerDonNZ wrote...
Ok dumb question for everyone. How the heck do you link/post screenshots and such? I've never quite figured that out. I had a hard enough time getting my sig to work. ugh.

You've missed the point, or i wasn't to clear? Some haters really do believe they have offed Morrigan. That she will no longer continue to exist in DA2. Yes, obviously it was only attempted murder. They have mistaken "Attack" for "Kill".

You know for a DLC that was clearly meant primarily to add to the Morrigan romance, I'm surprised they decided to make this scene as well as they did.

I could, but the one time I did it it was so sad that I just said "Screw it" and reloaded. So I'd rather not dwell:P But I meant mostly in a way of hearing people talk about killing Alistair (and outright rejoicing in being able to) is not a fun thing and evenif you argued for it for the heck of it, it wouldn't really be a fun thing.

I would ask you to tell me reasons that you believe can be valid for executing him...but I'd rather not be an ass and try to prove that I am betterjk

But then Axe is very cool, Grumpy is adorable and Giggles is so funny. I'm not used to being on a gaming forum with guys. The one I've been active on for years is mostly women.
Sleeeeeepy now. Night, Alistairians.

Yea I know. I initially thought I liked tragedy way too much for my own health to find that scene....good.
Following her into the mirror was nice too, but it lacked that...I don't know, dramatic feel to it. From the music of the party camp that reminds you of when she was with you, to your stern face, to her shocked expression. It was a powerful scene. I think that's the word.
Still, my favorite moment is Morrigan and dog.

Heh. Well, I'd probably agree that for some PCs that way of thinking is logical. I won't agree that it is right, but I can see pretty much any situation in the game being "right" depending on the character you are playing. So any argument you'd throw at me I'd probably say "Makes sense for ________" but it wouldn't necessarily be true for my character or others'. IDK. xD I am tired.
