I'm late to the party, but I didn't know the game had romances when I got it either. My sister bought it for me, as it looked like a fun swords & magic & fantasy rpg game like we used to play when we were young.

From the first moment I heard his snarky lines to the mages, and he's funny line about wearing a dress... I was totally hooked. I didn't realize it could actually /be/ a romance until some of the lines started to give it away. Then, after the rose & the first kiss I was so completely enthralled I called in sick for two days to play. And I loved the little love scene, even vanilla as it was. When it didn't play again, I immediately had to find a mod that would let me see it over again!

I also had a sudden fear of how the game would end, and had to look them all up before I got to the Landsmeet. Luckily I was a human noble for that first game, because I'd already done his personal quest and left him unhardened by the time we got there.

edit, and one of Ali alone, since it got top!

Dwarf Commenors should fit best with Morrigan and Zev, depending on if you are male or female.
Thats just my opionion though, do what fits best to you. (or go for the acheivements I dont judge... much)

She tried flirting with him, and outright teasing him at times, but his ability to resist her until he couldnt was awsome to her. Did fluster her when he ninja kissed her, suprised me too since in games I dont see charachters often take the lead from the PC..

If there is one thing I have learned about this game is that you really should try all the dialogue options. They sometimes hide some good sh*t behind lines you may not normally choose. You also don't get to tell Alistair that you dream about making mad love in your tent unless you first tell he smells like dog!

Though the last times I went for the "I feel the same way" option because I love his little, dreamy sigh and this 'oh gosh I'm so in love'- expression directly after the kiss.

Err, you guys mean after the Landsmeet, right?  Because that's the criteria for getting this line - the Landsmeet has to be done, and you still have to be in a relationship (i.e. Queen to be or mistress).  Then when you ask him "Where do you see this going?" he'll say "You know where this is going, I'm going to be king" then that line.

I can't see the line you're talking about  what did he say?  It sounds like it must really be good
and I love the "ninja kiss"  played it a few time too

And yes, like others have said, this is hardened Alistair after Landsmeet, where my HNF made him king and said she'd rule beside him.  This was in response to the "Where do you see this going ... " question.

On another subject, I just did sort of a cheat so that I could take a mage into the new DLC.  I stupidly deleted my Awakening mage.  So I took a newly created Dalish mage, got her up to Ostagar so I could purchase a backpack and then imported her into the DLC, where she got bumped up to level 20.  Of course, her equipment isn't the best, so this probably won't work.  But after getting her there, I looked at her on my profile page and realized her Story is practically empty.  This is a warden who never even met Alistair.  That feels so weird and wrong.

yeah..  I did that once.. it was weird.. I think it's better to use ingame cc and just make a new character rather than one that never met Alsitair or Zev or ..... imo
