When taking a break from too much Alistair induced goodness, read this.

And because it's been awhile:

Does anyone know if the Phoenix armor dye patch overides the universal dye kit colors? Things are not the same since I installed the Phoenix armor.

WTH is that? LOL I have no idea who Jacob is supposed to be or why he's hugging Alistair in drag.

Oh, thank you!  THANK YOU!  It's so good to find someone who isn't a Twilight thrall.  :P

*Edit:

Oh, Twilight, I should have figured.  Whenever I don't get a pop culture reference everyone else does, it's either Twilight or... what's that cartoon with the foul-mouthed kids that my husband sits slack-jawed watching...  South Park, that's it.

On topic, thanks for the tip on the Phoenix Armory.  The armor is a little slick-looking for my taste- I prefer an aged leather look- but the longbow is very nice.

My cousin would do an RDT on me if she knew that I was saying anti-Twilight stuff.

Alistair swooped Idun shortly before Tamlen's reappearance.  It's all in here.

I'm not reading that part again it made me cry the first time:P...lol

That's what made me think about the use of Cme's scenes afterwards too. I thought maybe they do burn him due to the taint, but she could take some of the ashes and plant the tree. And it makes sense to have Alistair there, because he admired the tradition. There has been swooping...

Whoa!  I never saw that scene!  Love it!  :D

Lady J, not only do you manage to grab the best expressions in your screenshots, but your graphics look different.  They are really pretty!  Mine don't look like that.  Actually, your dwarf shots don't look like that either.

@ Lady J: Congrats on getting your Lyra/Alistair relationship turned around so fast. It is kind of better when it's not all hearts and flowers with no obstacles, isn't it? ;)

And I agree with tuppence about your graphics --they have an almost Art Nouveau feel to them.

I finally got a snapshot of Grainne, my mage, which is appropriately representative of how she looks in-game (as opposed to in my avatar or on the creation screen), but I had to take a picture of my TV set from my phone to get it --stupid no-snapshot-taking PS3. . .:pinched:

I can top that.
I have about 10 female relatives and relations who would burn me at the stake for making fun of it.

Honestly I watched the first film, and not even Avatar made me that annoyed.

Aww, sweet!  And afterwards, was there skinny dipping in Lake Calenhad?  LOL

I didn't even know who that was in the picture.  I tried reading the first Twilight book after hearing about all the fuss, but it's a teen book, or books, I guess. So, that was it for me...read about 25 pages and had enough.  Give me the 'True Blood' books any time (and the series, of course).

Need to go through screenshots to upload more, they're all retreads now

Well I certainly would not make her angry! She's very different, well done! Reminds me of a movie called "powder". Especially fitting that she's a mage.

It didn't FEEL fast, goodness I thought we'd never get there. By the time she decided to stop being little miss broody britches , got his approval back up, and got swooped we had all three treaties and Redcliffe done. But yeah, it was a nice change from having them fall within the first  treaty. And thanks on the screenshots:)

I don't hate it, or like it. I just don't care abut it. None the less, we drove the three hours up the Washington coast to take my daughter to Forks for her birthday.

I'd prefer a real classic, like Bram stoker's dracula. Not that i'm saying True Blood is poor, i've just never read the books.

Okay, I'm in Redcliffe and I didn't take Alistair...how do I find out who is father was, etc. This game has been so strange, level 15 and Alistair is at -1 since I haven't really talked to him at all. I've never not taken him to Redcliffe before. Thanks.

Why did I check in with the thread after work....? Great dead and dying companion pics, folks. Guess I should have known that would happen, huh? Awesome. Now I'm in a terrific mood.

I'm pretty sure there have been plenty of non dead companions in the thread, I'm bordering on Lyra spam today for one thing. I'm confused? Do we generally get out of control and do awful things without your superrvision?...lol Is there to be punishment? Ohhh can it be wet noodles???

Why is it so much vampire literature/ media is schlocky?  We watched a bit of True Blood, too, but the cartoonish porn stuff was just... eww.  Not hot at all.

More Archerstair.  Why is it that everyone else is playing a Dalish elf atm and I'm working on HNF's replay?    I suppose it is bringing balance to the Force.
