Yeah, I'm such a huge Cousland fan that the Fergus thing almost made me stop reading. But it seemed to fit within that AU world. If his plan had worked, I think I would have given up, but all it did was drive them further apart.
Anyway, one of my problems with FF these days is keeping up with the continuing stories. If there's too much time between chapters, I forget where I was. Like I said ... brain = sieve. When I find stories I really like a lot, I tend to wait until they're either finished or there's large chunks of chapters to read.
I was really into one called A Midwinter's Thaw for awhile, but I got lost and just couldn't stick with the characters. I don't know if it was the story or me. I might give it another try once it's finished. I guess I should probably watch what I say, because I've no idea if these authors are here. If they are, sorry. I liked the story a lot for awhile. I think it was all the detours off into the non-DA:O characters that made me lose focus.
Yeah, too much OOC breaks me. I used to read Thaw, but hated the main character, so I sorta stopped reading. If the authors are here, ah well. *shrugs*

LadyD, it was a long time before I realized that you were the author of one of my favorite ffs.

I'm glad you like it. I assume you mean SO. It's been awhile since my last update, but real life kicked my butt. There will be an update this week. Hmmm. I need a mean, snarly Alistair in the Kal'Hirol armor to provide me with visual inspiration. Might have to load the Awakenings mod and grab some video after I sacrifice Isolde.

But now anything with a high chapter count kinda scares me off I can't seem to remember which fic's I 've read and where I've left off. Except for Sundered Order. I don't care how long it is I will read every word!
*super blush* I really appreciate that. The early chapters make me cringe now, but ah well. I will fix them eventually, if only just for myself.
