I dunno, I think he has a great time.  He might be a little surprised at first, but then gets right into the spirit of the thing, that's why I always do it, because the conversation is fun and he seems to have a very dry sense of humor about the whole thing.

I did try the threesome once when at 100 Love.  He wouldn't do it.  He talked about boundaries, and Isabella apologized and said something about she didn't realize I or he was spoken for.

As for the threesome, I'm not an Ali girl (points to Leli siggie), but I also can never wait to do it. Isabella's lower deck must be explored...

I didn't mean to imply that it was drudgery for the poor boy, goodness knows.  I do think he gets into it, as long as his partner is willing.  His banter with Zevran about being in the wrong order shows he likes the idea of debauchery as much as the next man.

True, there are a couple dialogues where it's clear that "jurisdictionally" he is not a Warden anymore.  For instance if he tries to recruit you to his court (in the post-LM discussion if he's not romanced), he says "if they can make an exception for me they can make one for you."  Also in some of his grumbling if you spare Loghain and marry him to Anora.

I think this is open to interpretation. It shows how Alistair feels about it, pretty clearly, but doesn't really say anything about how the wardens at Weisshaupt would, particularly in light of their acceptance for ruling an Arling, and their own de facto rule of the Anderfels. We also know that Alistair's ethics are a whole lot different than some wardens.

He doesn't join you at the Vigil because there is pressing business in the Bannorn, but he promises to return to help. Sadly, that never happens. I assume that whatever the business was, it turned out to be worse than he anticipated.

I don't think influence by the warden's it technically a problem, although it would probably seem so to Alistair. As senior warden and king, I think he would be the equal of the warden commander.

Agreed.

As the guy standing near her tells you, she's a formidable woman who can take care of herself better than most men. She's skanky and into kinky stuff, but there's obviously more to her than just that.

And I also agree that the threesome is much better with Leli/Zev than with Alistair. Especially the after dialogue.

My Cousland warden got around alot, too....Dairren, Zev, Leliana, Alistair, and Maker knows how many others before Dairren!  

Imo, I think the threesome is good for Alistair if he goes on to do the DR.  Things won't get weird between the warden and he since they've already gone through a 'different' experience and continued to have a loving relationship.

I can't find the exact dialogue but as I recall she asks if he is so neglected that he needs to seek out extra company, says she doesn't share, and that if he comes back stinking of seawater she'll never touch him again.

For those of you who do choose to do it I don't see anything wrong with it if it fits in to how you rp your warden's relationship with Alistair. I just really see it as ooc for Alistair and because I think it's really only there for the lulz, I don't take his agreement before or dialogue after into consideration as to whether it really is something he wanted to do. With the exception of Morrigan, who I think they rightfully excluded because there's no way I can see her paticipating for any reason, everybody else agrees - for the lulz.

I think it sets up interesting character conflicts for both of them and that's why it's there, not merely out of junior-high hijinks. Alistair is a Chantry virgin but has a laddish, let-the-good-times-roll side. Morrigan keeps insisting that her romance with the Warden is merely a case of ships passing in the night blowing each other's horn, but she is very possessive. It also lends pathos to the DR later on because you know Morrigan is not a libertine, and Alistair is willing to sow his oats when he's hardened but in that instance it makes him sick because of the circumstances.

Heh. And once again we agree, Addai When I do it it has to fitting to the Warden's character or I do it for the lulz and Alistair's "Wet frock" comment and then reload. Though basically I'm with my canon Warden and Morrigan in that case who both go "boo hiss, I DON'T SHARE MY MAN! *raaawr* " when Isabella offers this.

She is indeed perfect.
 I was actually somewhat surprised, but in a very pleasant way and I think I said "perfect" out loud when I tried that
