My Amell made Alistair king, and remained his Consort. My current Surana is a bit less ethical (not evil just...shady? I dunno the word I want). She's probably going to Marry him to Anora and be his Mistress on top of it. What can I say, she knows they'll kick butt as rulers but she isn't giving up Alistair. I've never done this before so I'm not sure how it'll work but she has to do something different than the rest of my characters.

Edit: Amell is Chancellor not consort. Derrrrrr. Either way Eamon's out of the way...lol

I keep forgetting about the 'going off to be grey wardens' ending, and I've never done it.....perfect! I forgot I'm going to NOT kill Cauthrian at Howe's this game, as well, because I have yet to have party members do a rescue. I know Sten/Dog and Alistair/Dog are really good, any suggestions on whom my PC should be with while locked up?

Oghern and Sten are the best in the rescue, plus Sten is very funny at the end of it.

Kalea, my current Surana, is gonna take Alistair off the Grey Wardens with her.  I had an Amell that did the mistress ending, but Kalea's not built for that.  She's gonna tell Eamon to sod off and keep her snuggly templar all to herself.

Edit:  She will also ask for freedom for the circle as her boon.

This is the ending I did with my female mage.  I haven't finished my male (Grumpy) blood mage ending, but I'm pretty sure he's going off with Zev.

If you spare Loghain just to hear his lines in RtO, make sure you spend some time just talking to him too.  He's got some very moving dialog about his regrets.

First go-through I made Alistair king and executed Loghain. My original plan was to make the ultimate sacriifice but as Alistair was in my party for the AD battle he beat me to it. Thanks to my fellow threadmates I got the mod which allowed me to keep Alistair in my party but knock him out so's I could deliver the killing blow to the Archdemon. I roleplayed the fact that since my mage couldn't be with Alistair it was time to head into the Fade.

I'm sure a psychoanalyst would have had a field day with that revelation.

My Surana and Alistair always runs off to be wardens. I really do like the "mage and templar run off" ending too. Plus, she's my cannon mage and my first playthrough who got the "surprise" WC ending. She gets to keep him for herself from now on.

No kidding! I always replay that thing about four or five times. And it's not only the possible companion combinations, but who you let handle the ordeal.

I always keep a separate file right before the Cauthrien battle just to surrender and do this mission.

EDIT: I forgot, Zevran and any female companion is another great combo!

^ yah, maybe...that was the spark for the 'jealous' Alistair conversation, which is fun to hear.

Ohh, I just thought of the downside of having my mage and Alistair go off to be wardens, the downside is having to listen to Anora's screechy speeches....ugh, I hate those!

Yeah, that is the one downside of making Anora queen. I like her, but her motivational speech is downright awful. That is the one moment when I wish I made Alistair king.

Question, if you marry them, who gives the speech?

So because Loghain is in it, he refuses to help in the fight that is deciding the fate of his nation?
Eamon who is like 50 or so is fighting in it, and he has just as much reason to hate Loghain.

I am really not looking forward to finishing my first playthrough on the pc where I put Anora on the throne. This was never a problem on the xbox. Alistair always giving the speech was a welcome consequence of the "Alistair always thinks he's king" bug.

It's a personal taste thing, I had no problem with Morrigan the way she looked. But I love Claudia Black and I wanted to put in a mod that made her look a bit more like her, I recieved plenty of comments telling me how it really brought out the voice acting. I love Alistair too, my character had a big bromance with the guy ^^

As a matter of fact I made sure I caught as many of his comments as I could, including his gossip talk after you've recruited everyone. www.youtube.com/watch
